- Kate BoykoApril 29, 2016I expected more. Very few food places and shops in domestic area. Plus, if you have an international transfer flight with a stop here - you would have to go out, pick your bags and change terminals.
- It is a horror show. poor signage especially to the rental car locations. Be patient each rental car brand has its own busses and they can go 20 minutes without one then three arrive at the same time.

- As for a room if you have two cats to get past security. Easier than taking them out with a lot of activity happening.
- This airport is busy 24/7. Always allow yourself extra time going through TSA and getting to your designated gate.
- Big airport, if transiting from an international flight make sure to have 2-3 hr of layover. Staff here are slow and queue is long.
- If you have a connecting flight with American Airlines and a very short lay over, don't worry all of the AA gates are close to each other.
- Give yourself extra time to get through security. Smile at your fellow travelers & even TSA. No one enjoys LAX; there's no need to make it worse. :)
- Lax-it is unsafe with its overcrowded buses, and lunatic drivers. Also the music in here is FULL VOLUME. WTAF?!
- Ray NagataniJuly 27, 2013If you land at terminal 1 and are getting on any shuttle, you may save time walking across to terminal 7 for pickup. Traffic can make it take 30 minutes to pick up at each terminal.
- AdamJuly 26, 2012Seating is sparse around gates. Way more people than seats available. Power outlets? You might be able to solve the US economy's issues in the time it will take you to find one.
- Make sure you get here 2 hours early for your flight. Security takes 15 minutes when you are early and over an hour when you are pressed for time.
- Everyone is hating. Nothing better than first class LA-NYC on American. The best airline food (amazingly) full bar, full beds. Cured my fear of flying!

- The comfy lounge seats for Southwest are the best way to wait for your flight. They all have outlets too.
- TeamTRI says If you're driving into LAX around Gate 1 and need to get to Gate 6 or 7 use the cut across rather than drive the whole horseshoe. Saves time and hassle and is usually not crowded.
- Be prepared to get there early if you are unfamiliar with it. Large airport with multiple terminals can make it somewhat confusing for newcomers.
- Crowded. Take the left exit for Terminal 7 for a shortcut or to go down to arrivals. Watch out, the 105 Exit is on the far right.

- United departure parking structure #7 on 3rd floor ramp is quick way into the United gates
- If it is busy in the arrivals pickup area, try getting picked up on the departure level.
- when picking up, use the cell phone waiting lot off Sepulveda and 96. don't risk the ticket for parking at the curb.
- Want to be felt up by a stranger ??? The security here does a great job. Lol
- Convince airport officials that you're a celebrity then get them to escort you through the back way. It rocks. :)
- You're going to Hollywood, baby. But first you'll have to enter through this dated excuse for an airport. Watch out for the paparazzi.

- Get here early and don't piss off TSA. They're famous for making it take extra long to check your things and private screenings so long that you miss your flight.

- This has gone from being one of the worst airports to one of the better ones at least the international terminal. Smart partnership with Westfield mall for a great retail experience. I'll be back.

- The 10:30 PM red eye to NYC from LAX is always full, make sure you travel light.
- The Admirals club in the AA terminal rocks - just be sure to not miss your flight :)
