One of the few places you can get something for breakfast that resembles low Carb. It ain't perfect but the other restaurants in T2 are worse.

Pre check is the way to go. Get to keep everything on and just breeze through security.

The Souhwest hub is at terminal 1 making it the quickest to get to, but it's also the terminal most in dire need of a facelift. No good options for food other than fast food. Eat before you go.

If you're connecting outward? You might be wiser to hang out in Tom Bradley. The outer terminals are a bit short on ways to kill time!
After the renovation , LAX deserves a world class status.
Kind of a cluster eff airport. Lines for Starbucks are insanely long in the morning and seats at the gates are extremely uncomfortable. Good luck trying to relax and nap in them :p.
Once you leave the secure area it's a ghost town by baggage claim. No stores, not even a vending machine. Lovely how they unload all priority tagged bags last.
Great place to shop and to eat until go to the gate.

Traffic laws become optional in here as it becomes a reckless, lawless, free-for-all where traffic cops don't give a ****
Larder at Tavern is the only coffee shop opened at 7am aside from Starbucks

Nicole GutierrezJanuary 17, 2014For a major airport, LAX blows. There is nothing to do here. Your choices for food and drinks are incredibly limited and the terminals have no decent shopping, just newsstands and candy stores!
How come in the US Airways terminal, there are 3 bars, but none you can sit and order food and a beer? All 3, you have to go get your own food, then belly up. Long day, just want to be served.
It is possible to do a LAX / ORLANDO round trip the same day and have fun but you have to go nonstop on Delta or United
Use the bathroom on the plane before you get off the line is always so long for the women's bathroom near any gate
In terminal 7, there's a Burger Counter, BLD, Yogurtland but at airport prices. Also a B Grill by BOA
For Backpackers: take the free Green shuttle to the Metro and get around to Hollywood that way. So much cheaper than any taxi- Welcome to America. Make a run to clear the immigration area. It gets mighty busy. You don't want to miss your connecting flight!

Love the new body scanners! Makes security checks twice as long and lines way longer. But you get a picture of your intestines, very nice!

Southwest in terminal 1 doesn't accept mobile boarding pass, but the the lady at baggage drop was nice enough to print one for me, thanks lady. Enjoy your flight
The construction may throw you off, but it is still a terrific airport!

Honestly, security here goes much faster than it does where I come from. No complaints from me !

TSA Security is really means to work here, even shoes, belt, jacket have to remove and place into a tray
