- RaeMarch 24, 2017There is a good work desk and charging station by gate A17. Grab a dirty chai latte from Peet's coffee and settle in and get caught up on your emails.
- Phoenix Sky Harbor International AirportJuly 18, 2012We have an award-winning mobile website. Type in skyharbor.com on your mobile device & you can check flight status & even find out what shops & restaurants are near your departure or arrival gates.
- Walk around. There is plenty of interesting stuff to see, places to eat, and shops to browse. Sitting will shorten your life span anyway.
- Give yourself sufficient time to drop off your car rental. Plus, gas stations in area are more expensive than the rest of the city!
- So many amazing restaurants that represent the PHX culture. Plenty to do while you wait.
- Check for signs on mobile check-ins for TSA at Checkpoint D. It’ll allow you to save your spot in the TSA line!
- ke-keeJune 30, 2012Very nice airport, went to a great Mexican restaurant while waiting for a flight back to FL. Nice places to shop and if you need a ride to get to your gate they have these free cool cart drivers.
- La Grande Orange (I think that's the name of the restaurant) has excellent food but a terrible setup. Ordering and getting your food can be confusing but it's worth the hassle. Music's good too!
- Lindsey TimbermanMay 5, 2014Looking for a great gluten free option at the airport? Check out La Grande Orange in the D terminal. The gluten free pizza was tasty - get the margherita!
- Joe HartOctober 23, 2011Try the Barfly restaurant. Local food served fast by friendly people. I had the fish and chips with a local ale and was surprised by how good it was. Not your typical airport food.
- Matt's Big Breakfast is now open! This place in downtown always has a line of loyal customers. So great to have them inside security for those morning flights!
- Mark BrinkerhoffJanuary 25, 2013While free wi-fi is much appreciated, can't find a recharge outlet at any gate to save your life. Oh, the irony!
- Allison KasicFebruary 10, 2017I've flown through this airport multiple times just so I could eat at Blanco.
- TSA pre-check in terminal 4 takes less than 5 minutes No matter how many people are in line. They have 2 lanes and you fly right through. Love TSA pre-check!!
- Ryan PriceMay 7, 2016Go to the Cartel Coffee Lab. It's is near C13 and a fine hand-crafted cup of brown water!
- La Grande Orange near the D gates has good coffee and breakfast food. I'm not a vegetarian - their Zuni Burrito (has tofu in it) is really good.
- Starbucks WHO?? Fughedaboutit...make your way to locally owned Press Coffee for your caffeine fix, your taste buds will thank you! (@presscoffee knows how to brew w/out scorching)
- PHX is like that nightmare you have when you're trying to escape, and it feels like you're running and not moving...the hall getting longer....this is what it's like connecting between flights.
- Starbucks WHO?? Fughedaboutit...make your way to locally owned Press Coffee for your caffeine fix, you tast buds will thank you! (@presscoffee knows how to brew w/out scorching)
- Wendy's in terminal 3 between gate 18-19 doesn't serve hamburgers till after 10am. $9.00 steak & egg burrito across the way is the best bet for breakfast.
- Janelle J.December 26, 2014The Mexican Grill in terminal b is legitimately good texmex. It's a little slow since they make everything on the spot, but it's a solid spot for food.
- When picking up, use the cell phone lot and tell your passenger to tell you exactly which door to go to... preferably a clear area. Saves time and you won't be "that guy" jamming up curbside pick-up!!
- D gates have new and good food near the end on the right. Baked goods, burgers and hot sandwiches, great salad selections for grab and go
- You won't find any beverages other than water at the newsstand/news shops. Best place to find Coke/Diet Coke is at the CPK kiosk where there is not usually a line (like you will find at Pizza Hut et a
- Uliana KozhevnikovaJanuary 2, 2014If you are flying with US Airways, make sure that you come in three hours before you domestic flight. Even if you checked in and paid for the bags online, you may spend up to 90 min in lines.
- PancrazioMay 17, 2013Don't miss a real Italian espresso at Cartel Coffee Shop, in the C gate area. To have the true Italian experience pay for a single shot but ask to stop at 'half'.
- Marissa RyanNovember 21, 2022One of the better airports (once you’re inside). If security is more than 30 minutes at your gate, check security times at all gates for the fastest one, all gates are connected inside.
- Parking at the airport is so 2003.. Take Light Rail to 44th Street & Washington, and connect to the PHX SkyTrain! #EasyPeasy
- The shops and restaurants close at 9 pm. If you are unlucky enough to be on a late flight or red eye, be prepared to be hungry and thirsty by the time your flight leaves. Pretty poor customer service!
- Terminal four is where all the cool kids go. If you're going to buy a $12 drink or a $15 salad, do it here. Excellent restaurants, unfortunate prices.
- Free wifi! Yay! But keep in mind it can sometimes be a bit slow so streaming video or downloads may be difficult. Best to keep it simple.
- You're at "America's Friendliest Airport!" Check out all the art everywhere and ask a Navigator if you have any questions (they're in purple jackets or shirts).

- 2 words. Cowboy Ciao. Find it and have the Stetson Salad. You're welcome.
- Wifi is free! Terminal 4 is the busiest. Get there early if you are flying Southwest or US Airways. This airport drops you in the middle of the city, which can be convenient.
- E BrownJune 7, 2013Be prepared to hunt for an available outlet if you need to work or charge a phone or laptop. And if you think about looking around other concourses, you're in for a hike! Be prepared.
- Zach Solomon-BeloinFebruary 25, 2015One of the best airports in terms of service, time it takes to get baggage, restaurants and bars. Free wifi

- Hank SearfusMarch 13, 2013Home base for US Airways. Plentiful food and shopping options no matter where you are. Expect to do a lot of waking if your flight is in terminal 3.

- DejaJuly 17, 2016Fastest smoke...take elevators to 9th floor parking ramp. Then back down to 3. Great photos from up there too
