- Robi KobiJanuary 15, 2013The best place for eating meat! And don't forget to go listening some music to the knitting factory just in front of the fette sau:)
- Kay KayOctober 6, 2014Great food. Anot the cheapest one. But the quality of the meat is great. And I love the side choices you have.
- Between 7:30 and 8:00 pm on summer Fridays is when the line gets long. Watched the suckers from the comfort of my outdoor table w/ my beer...
- Melanie DudekJune 3, 2015Try any meat because they are all amazing, also try the German potato salad
- Patrick ConnellMarch 8, 2016The pork belly was the BEST!! The ribs and brisket were also great! Beans were a decent side.
- Nina YiamsamathaJuly 24, 2011Get a gallon of good beer (the tap handles are meat cleavers!) and share with your table while feasting on pork.
- ExperiencesAugust 10, 2012Ace BBQ, brilliant sides, huge wooden tables for cozy communal seating, magical flatscreen "fireplace," and, last we checked, 30 kinds of bourbon. Don't go there looking for a salad.
- Kev SkinnyAugust 14, 2014Dont be stingy. Order more then u can handle, cuz that line ain't getting any shorter. Get a gallon of beer and make sure to eat as sloppy as possible. Its how god intended you to eat this shit.
- Mike HJuly 28, 2011Really good. The pulled pork was awesome, not doused in sauce. Pork ribs were super juicy, beef ribs were kinda dry. Try the potato salad, its not the normal mayo-soaked kind. Pass on the sweet tea.
- The Family RecordsJune 28, 2011Great BBQ with very laid-back summer atmosphere in the Burg. Beer comes in mason jars (or mini mason jars for half pints). Right across from the Knitting Factory.
- CompassJuly 24, 2013Slices of brisket, legs of lamb, pigs’ tails, and ribs make up the vast and meaty menu at this Williamsburg BBQ haven.
- Dominic GarciaNovember 7, 2014Ordering by the pound makes it easy to overindulge on the delectable bbq. With a group or even alone you're guaranteed to waddle away satisfied.
- Charles MNovember 29, 2017One of the best bbq joints in NYC hands down. Try their pork belly or brisket!
- Andy WilkeJanuary 18, 2015Great Spare Ribs! Sometimes it's way too crowded. So be patient to get seated.
- Georgia LuddeckeOctober 9, 2016The ribs and pork belly are out of this world. German potato salad is very crisp and refreshing.
- My favorite BBQ in Manhattan. Get the pork ribs with a side of beans
- VevoJune 1, 2012Fette Sau is German for "Fat Pig". It's bread, it's meat...have a couple drinks and head out. They've got a wall of American whiskeys and bourbons.
- Todd MohneyAugust 1, 2014The pulled pork, brisket, and baked beans are what's going on here. Definitely worth the wait.
- One of the best BBQ joints in NYC. Try the pork belly and the beef ribs!
- Tony XerriMay 12, 2014Food was great but I wish the guy behind the counter wasn't such a jackwad. Either he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or he just loves displaying his hipster-pretentiousness towards patrons...
- Jason HermanDecember 1, 2013Great low key vibe. Go in for the smell alone. Real Texas BBQ. Great beer and whiskey selection!
- Tom MengApril 23, 2016This BBQ place is the bomb! Expect to wait at least 30 mins tho during busy hours. Totally worth the wait tho!
- New York HabitatDecember 6, 2011The best bbq in Brooklyn hands down. Try the brisket and/or pork belly, and don't forget about the baked beans!
- Arpit UppalNovember 10, 2018Everything was cold. Ribs and brisket have nice bark and flavor but were cold and dry. The ribs I couldn’t eat, they weren’t tender, felt like I was trying to take a bite out of cartilage.
- Mark LeeDecember 9, 2010It gets crowded but it's totally worth the wait. Although you may be tempted to eat outside on a cold night, don't as the food will cool off very quickly. BBQ is not meant to be cold.
- Joseph FasoneJuly 6, 2015If you're unsure of how much meat to order - just tell them how many are in your party and what you'd like, they'll whip it right up.
- Ernesto BernalMay 17, 2014I get that you should save seats for your group, but you're not getting your food for another hour! Everything else is incredible.
- Sam ThonisNovember 30, 2014Brisket, sausage, pork ribs are amazing. Everything is amazing. Eat everything.
- Village VoiceNovember 14, 2011Winner of Best BBQ in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Pair your 'cue with a cocktail to cut through the richness of the meal.
- Marcel BrionesApril 7, 2014A pound per person is the perfect portion. Anything that starts with B is money - Brisket, Belly, and Beans.
- Tim McClureJune 28, 2015Native Texan - and these are some of the best pork ribs I have ever tasted. Skip the sausage - it's nothing to write home about. Overpriced BBQ, but it's New York City so...
- FranciscoMay 13, 2013Unfortunately, I have lived in North Carolina and this is just mediocre Pulled Pork BBQ. Also their sauces need name tags. I guess this is the best you can get in NYC, but I would't do the line again
- Natalie UnterstellApril 20, 2013Brisket is good; pork sjoulder is FANTASTIC! Beers : loved the one specially brewed for Fette Sau - fruity !
- Selom AAugust 27, 2016Of course the brisket! But the burnt end baked beans are the unsung heroes of the menu...
- Leah HammerschlagOctober 21, 2015Loved the brisket, better than hometown's. Unique and delicious potato salad too.
- Duygu OzturkogluNovember 12, 2013Get there a little earlier or else you won't have a place to sit. Liquid gold is the best beer they have
- Mike JohnsonApril 25, 2017Brisket like and angel's song. Buy a gallon of beer and be the hero at your table.
- Lanre AdedokunMarch 3, 2015Brisket...classic bbq feel on the inside of the restaurant and in the smoke of the meat
- Max PerrySeptember 13, 2015Long line at 9pm on Saturday, but the finely burnt brisket and delicious ribs are worth all of it
- Kimmie NguyenAugust 7, 2014We somehow beat the crowd on a Friday night. 7pm might be the sweet spot for brisket and beer.
