Linda Chow: A gem in the neighborhood! Authentic Japanese food in a cozy space. Try the obanzai and soy milk pudding. Miso-marinated salmon was incredibly delicious!

Linda Chow: One of my favorites in all of NYC! Great, fresh and healthy authentic Japanese food. Super cozy. Waiting time can be very long.

Omar Haroun: Some of the best most authentic Japanese food I've had. Lunch special ftw -- $10 for huge donburi w salad and soup. Ask for the spicy red pepper for some extra kick
Chelsea: Excellent udon & shumai in a very authentic space. Sushi looks good too.
Basak: Super cozy spot with great authentic food. Udon is amazing. If you are in a sushi mode, sushi tacos are pretty delicious.

Joy Chen: Uncommonly good and authentic sushi + sashimi omakase. Better than places I've been to in Japan. The mushrooms make for a savory appetizer.
