The beets & greens are to die for. Deviled eggs & chicken liver toast also delicious. Come from 3 to 5 pm for limited wait (and limited menu but still lots to choose from)

It's hard to justify $25 on a burger, but the burger with Roquefort cheese was worth it. Comes with a huge mound of amazing shoestring fries, I wish I wasn't so hungover so I could've eaten more

Tangy Roquefort cheese highlights the mineral richness of the Pat LaFrieda mix (brisket, short rib, sirloin and chuck) in the hulking, char-grilled half-pounder. (Critics' Pick) Read more

Everything at this place is amazing. If you're a fan of aged meat and blue cheese you HAVE to get their signature burger... Or try the gnocchi.

For your entree, get the crispy pork belly with vegetables & fried squash or the grilled skirt steak with lime vinaigrette, chilles, & crispy shallots! The burger also looks amazing!

One of the best Gastropubs in the city. I recommend Butter Roasted Turnips, Chicken Liver Toast, Devils on Horseback (bacon-wrapped prunes) and Bronx Pale Ale.

The chicken liver toast is insane. You must get the devil's on horseback, and the ricotta gnudi is like some sort of magical fluffy cheesy dream.

9 dishes later ! Amazing ! Gnudi, carrots, deviled eggs, burger dish so yummy. Lemon tart and blood orange cake = too good! (Con: service is super bad, yucky)

I have a new standard for shoestring fries. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Beets were delicious too. Expect a long wait. They do not take reservations. 🍔

1st time? Yes, everyone will say gnudi and the burger. But after that, I rec the succotash, corn soup in the summer, crispy pig ears or cheeks if you're lucky- be specific when asking staff for recs

Love the Nightingale cocktail and the grilled skirt steak with béarnaise. The deviled eggs are delicious as well.

Great late night place. Friendly staff & good quality food. The chocolate cake was delicious. The rhubarb pie was good but the chocolate was better.

Not the veggie-friendliest restaurant in Manhattan, but vegetarians can find their way here: Gnudi was one of the best pasta dishes I ever had. And the banana toffee tart... indescribable!

I came here 2 years ago and possible was the best burger and fries ever. Went back this week and among other things, the bun was very dry.. It kind of ruined it for me...

For lunch head to the Spotted Pig (314 West 11th St, 001 212 620-0393, ₤25 a head) British chef April Bloomfield’s fabulous corner gastro-pub. Try the crispy pork belly with spring vegetables.

Another little miracle by Mario Batali: excellent food (perhaps the best burger in Manhattan), relaxed atmosphere, great staff. If you have to wait: it's worth it!

Once seated and you’re in the mood for something light, we’d have no qualms about just having the Roasted Beet Salad and a glass of white wine. Or....you can just get the burger.

The food is absolutely delicious but a bit heavy to digest afterwards due to the heavy seasoning and sauces used. The waiting time is also not great, but what can you do? It's a really small place..

This quaint little West Village gastropub is good for a casual lunch. If you're adventurous get the popular chicken liver toast, otherwise the burger and fries are mighty fine too.

Char-Grilled Burger, $21 Some say this dish earned the Pig its Michelin star. The short-rib-heavy half-pound patty stands up to its mantle of salty-creamy Roquefort.

Deviled eggs and Devils on Horseback (bacon wrapped dates) were both delicious and worth the trip & wait. Everything else, however, was not impressive. Including the snobby host.
