- Kara BenzSeptember 30, 2013No smoking lounges in the airport but it's super easy to go out thru ticketing then right back in thru security, just make sure you have your boarding pass and ID
- Jana A. KriJune 1, 2016Kinda small and crowded, but as long as you safe and alive, it's good enough. They have some cool "indie" shops in the duty free zone.
- Justin BirdsongOctober 15, 2011If you don't have any checked bags and are renting a car use the skyway checkpoint. When leaving just make sure you have your boarding pass and check in the Skyway security. It us usually way faster
- Normally have a pretty good experience here. They do well with cleaning runways in winter. Good choices are good as well.

- Michelle PoskevichJanuary 16, 2014Concourse G had iPad stations for travelers to use. Very cool! Thumbs up MSP!
- Maui Tacos in Minnesota ? Yep. Right here at the airport. Great food & they even have unfried fish tacos. Enjoy & Aloha!
- Emily OConnorJanuary 25, 2013Some of the best restaurants in the cities are in the airport. I recommend Ike's- they aren't capable of making bad food. Use the skyway checkpoint if you have no bags. Otherwise, gate 6 is fast.
- The drivers of the electric courtesy carts don't use horns or announce that they are rolling. Watch yourself.
- The ficelle at Surdyks are a great snack! Also, two Starbucks located right around the corner from each other near D,C gates
- MSP used to have easiest, quickest security process of any major US airport (and I fly hundreds of thousands of miles a year so have a reference point). As of February 2016, it's a complete cluster.
- Can be confusing at times, it’s huge. But plenty of food options and always nice and friendly staff
- Chelsea RoseApril 21, 2018Such a bright and airy airport; everything is well-labeled and easy to navigate
- Hannah HenriquesMay 5, 2013Clean, efficient airport with many shops and friendly staff. One of the best airports I've been to.
- KellyJuly 22, 2012Bring a container for water. They let you get water from the soda fountain for free. Bonus: saves you money and is good for you & the environment. :)
- StephenOctober 19, 2013While waiting for your bags, play the piano and bring some joy to your tired fellow travellers.
- Scott KramerSeptember 18, 2012I believe in height karma. Give your exit row seat to a tall person, and one day, a tall person will let you stand in front of them at a concert.
- For a great cup of coffee, go to World Bean at Concourse G - so good!
- Molly TMay 30, 2014There's a secret security check-in called the 'Skyway' for peeps just with carry-ons.
- Rosario RobinsonSeptember 22, 2019If you have a connecting flight be sure to have your comfortable shoes. Concourses are far and you need time.
- LeviJuly 28, 2012The observation deck above the D terminal is a quiet place with a fantastic view of the ramp and runways. No visible power outlets here, though.
- Michael SchmittOctober 10, 2011If you have time, head to the Observation Deck at terminal D. It gives you a great view of planes taking off and landing, plus a nice view of downtown!
- Josh WebbAugust 25, 2012Rental car goers beware! If landing around 11pm the rental car facility will most likely be closed by the time you get your bags (6am-11pm). no express pickups for any of the members programs either.
- Joel ReedMarch 5, 2015Nice airport to kill some time at. Several food, drink and shopping options. Nice layout.
- BillJuly 10, 2018The lack of design is very telling. The trip from F concourse to B concourse is outlandish.
- Amne HarringtonAugust 7, 2014There are iPads everywhere! You order your food from them and can play while you wait - love getting to go to this airport.
- Has an onsite Ike's which easily qualifies as one of the best airport restaurants in America.
- Laura HoweNovember 9, 2014The Delta terminals are now equipped with free iPads and a swanky facelift.
- The water in the restroom sinks are scolding hot! They need to turn the heat down a tad. Use caution!Upvoted Mar 1
- Concourse G in Terminal 1 (Delta) has iPads for each passenger to use...for free!
- My favorite airport in America. Fast, clean, friendly, and lots of good food.
- Jennie RistowApril 28, 2014Large airport. Allow enough time between layovers.lots of great stores and restaurants even a couple spa express
- If you have a long layover (2.5-3+ hours) and are feeling adventurous, take the light rail to the Mall of America.
- JamieJanuary 23, 2014This appears to be the nicest airport I've been in. The free iPads in the Delta G concourse are a nice prophylaxis for small talk.
- Sean JenningsApril 11, 2014The Starbucks' here do not sell their cans of double-shot...bummer...the gift shops don't either! The glass bottle frappuccinos are a close second for cold liquid caffeine.
- Get to the airport early for the security check. They have reduced the number of scanners due to the new full body scanners. There is only one scanner per checkpoint now.
- The bathroom at E10 is truly great; excellent (!) lighting design, durable attractive materials & a very nice mosaic. WTG, MSP!
- If your flight is departing from the G Concourse, get there early. Now that every gate has been turned into a restaurant/shop there's very few places to sit.
- Stop at UptownMN Boutique on Concourse G, gates 1-6... Shop ROX Jewelry Designs!
- If you're visiting MSP, we formally apologize for Michele Bachmann. We didn't want her, either.
- Brand new bathrooms on concourse F are wonderful: light filled, clean, easy to get in/out, and handy shelves/hooks.
- Sara WolcottMarch 8, 2014TONS AND TONS of places to eat. Save your legs and use the moving walkways if you've gotta change terminals. (Delta agents aren't very helpful though.)
- The trouble with this otherwise nice airport is that the location of the regional jet terminal so far from the other concourses makes anything less than a one hour layover a crapshoot to connect.
- Daniel JacobsonMarch 5, 2012Check out Ikes Food & Cocktails for great breakfast, brunch or lunch in TICKETING before heading through security. Last chance for GOOD food before you board.
- Jay GillespieJuly 1, 2015Info kiosk attendants are super eager and provide excellent directions. Also virtual golf in the mall!
