Campbell Apartment is a great place to go if you're visiting for the ambiance, energy & history. It's a great space seen in TV shows and etc.

The nerve center of the Metro-North Railroad, this beautiful terminal is also home to the NY Transit Museum Annex and a host of other shops and eateries...Suggest Brother Jimmy's BBQ or Two Boots!

Stuck in midtown in the evening and need to get home? Stop by at Grand Central for easy bathroom (alright not the cleanest but passable) and then easy access to most subway lines. And it'll be empty!

I had written off Magnolia's... until I tried their Grand Central location. Replace "stale cupcakes" and "waiting half an hour for them" with "instant, fresh, and delicious." Bon voyage, mon ami.

Grand Central Terminal used to be twenty feet lower, but the addition of a new subway line in the 60's forced the city to raise the entire structure. That's why the front door is on the second floor.

Stand near the Apple Store steps on the east side of the Main Concourse for free WiFi, but Apple will censor what you can browse, including some pretty mild stuff, like CollegeHumor.com.

The ticket vending bay on the western side of the main hall tends to be less crowded than the eastern/more central one that's closer to the subway entrance.

The "Whispering Gallery" is located near the famous Oyster Bar. If you and a friend stand in separate corners, the acoustics of the low ceramic arches make a whisper sound like a shout!

Excellent restaurants. Take some time to admire the Sky Ceiling, with its gold-outlined constellations. But don't get it anybody's way--people move quickly in and out of here!
