- I spend way too much money at Uniqlo, but it's my go-to place for all the basics. Plus, the prices are reasonable and you don't sacrifice quality. If you want to avoid a madhouse, go during the week.
- The staff isn't as well trained as before. Expanding too quickly?
- Heidi AldamaDecember 6, 2010Fabulous t-shirts for really cheap. Jeans for 12 bucks. Cannot express how much I love this store. I purposely add time to my trips to NY to go to this store
- Uniqlo is the 5 largest retailer in the world. Rare outside of Japan, it's a major tourist destination
- Check out their new leggings jeans and jersey jackets. Fantastic prices/great quality!
- The free alternations take a couple of hours, so hit up uniqlo early on
- Kris ConcepcionFebruary 2, 2014It is unbearably hot inside. They must put the heattech in the walls, too.
- Their visual merchandising team does a great job! Men's section is on the 2nd level.
- For the shortest lines, hit up the registers in the mens dept on the top floor
- Carrie MFebruary 20, 2010Ladies! Go downstairs to the lower level. There's more jeans down there, and sometimes they're on awesome special. I once got two pairs of jeans for $20! And they look designer. Loves it!
- I really appreciate they handed my card and bag in both hands. Very courteous & professional.
- Still my favorite location in NYC. The 5th Avenue store requires too much navigation to find things.
- Use the checkout line upstairs, it's a million times faster than the main level!
- Love coming here to find great men's stuff. Cashiers and employees are very friendly. Free alterations and they have amazing stuff for the fall
- Jules GuzmanMarch 1, 2016It's a shame they don't have the complete Japanese catalog but still the best place in the city to get your basics.
- Diego RufoApril 5, 2011Gap meets H&M meets Zara. Prices are more than affordable, color palette are almost infinite and quality is terrific. Read more
- too bad this is all the way in NYC or else i would be here all the time. better stuff for guys than for girls, great basics (30 dollar oxfords are win)
- Great clothes but shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays cause it's less packed and easier to browse
- If they have a better price online, get it online as the store won't match the price of their website
- Bryan ViperSeptember 25, 2012The best for basics: t-shirts, socks, underwear, jeans; stylish without breaking the bank.
- KatFebruary 22, 2014If I could offer you only one tip for the future, UNIQLO Heattech tights would be it
- Nicole CifaniJanuary 15, 2013Get the thermal tops and leggings. Great deals on cashmere (under $100!).
- dapperQAugust 31, 2010The New York flagship store. Bolds and solids abound- you're sure to find some great base pieces to mix and match with funkier accents.
- Connor LevensSeptember 11, 2011I dare anyone to find a more organized, namely priced clothing store in all of Manhattan. Bloomingdale's? Hell, even Macy's can't beat this.
- They will custom fit your pants fo' free, as long as they're $19.99 and over. Awesome!!!!
- Lenny SanchezJuly 9, 2011This place is always crowed.prepare to wait on the longest line ever if your trying to get in the fitting room. Nice place though.they always have cool stuff.
- Gita RamMarch 20, 2011Love, love, love shopping here! Only two negatives: the crow of shoppers and length o fitting room line. They hem for free!!
- Get your basics here. Can also be an affordable warm coat.
- Busiest time is from 2pm-6pm. Best time to shop without the crowd is before or after peak hours.
- Rebecca ChanMarch 19, 2012don't buy anything at retail, it will go on sale within a month for $20 or less. Bought sweaters and jeans all for $12.99 or under.
- RICK PANTERASeptember 25, 2013PURCHASED MY FIRST PAIR OF SKINNY JEANS HERE TODAY & THEY FIT ME LIKE A GLOVE | (HAPPY FACE)
- BubsyDecember 14, 2012Japanese clothing chain. But clothes are made in China. Although, I still like this place. :)
- Dan MilanoOctober 15, 2013I just needed a pair of socks. I brought them to the register and the staff refused to sell them to me. They said I would have to pay for three pairs and suggested I donate the other two to charity.
- Danielle NeufeldMay 6, 2011You might die of old age waiting on the fitting room line.. so try whatever you can on in front of the mirrors throughout the store.
- Although fashionistas would argue that there's nothing unique about it. Uniqlo is definitely the less of two evils in comparison to H&M. Good basics, reasonable prices w/o sacrificing too much quality
- You used to be able to get free pant alterations but they changed their policy and it costs $5 to alter pants if they are under $20. So that's why they made their pants $19.90. Dislike this a lot!
- John StevenJune 13, 2012Cheap, fashionable, high-quality isabel marant sneakers at http://www.isabelmarantbasket.co.uk Isabel Marant.
