Good airport, plenty of places to look in or eat/drink at whilst waiting for your flight.
r DaveMay 1, 2011Never, ever connect internationally through Pearson. Double immigration and customs for the US-bound; plan to add two plus hours. (The inter-terminal baggage protocol alone boggles the mind.)
At Q4, Walk in airport, look for ladies washroom and 3 doors to the right there's an unmarked, recessed door. Home cooked meals as well as fries and smaller things, cheap prices!
If you have an item that doesn't make it past security, you can have it shipped to you, or stored at the Airport.

The TTC ( Toronto's public transit ) 192 Bus is a fast and cheap way to get to the subway and on to anywhere in Toronto! Look for it. It's not well signed.

The cheapest way to downtown Toronto is the TTC shuttle bus. $3.00 with cash. $2.50 if you buy a token beforehand. Yours Truly, Backpackwithbrock.com

Free wifi is a win, though have to keep reconnecting on an iPhone via Safari. US pre-immigration lines can be very long, so leave plenty of time if going there.

- Easy to navigate. Gates to USA could have better options and restrooms small.

There's free WiFi! Also you are allowed to bring in food items as long as you're flying domestic.

Parking is much less expensive over at Viscount. Park there and take the link train in. If you have a smartphone, take a photo of where you left your car so you can find it later.
What a gong show at the airport. They have a new cattle system which herds everyone (except nexus holders) into a holding tank. Complete fail if you would prefer waiting in the AC lounge.
This place became a horror after they started the construction. Crazy lines everyone, wither get VIP access or Nexus unless you want to be thrown in long queues for 2 hrs.
When arriving try to get your Tim Hortons at the lounges before you exit the baggage carousels- the one by the terminal exit is always packed.

Nice free WiFi and its an airport so the variety of stuff in the departure lounge is good
YYZ is a surprisingly large airport. Take that into account if you have a connection.

S POctober 21, 2016Long (but easy) walk to international flights... Leave yourself enough connecting time.
When flying United as a Canadian, be sure you use the automated terminals in front of the desks to ensure skipping that 45 minute lineup. At least two hours before your flight, if crossing the border.
