- Michelin Travel & LifestyleAugust 16, 2011Dine early-bird at the Spotted Pig; you won’t have to fight the crowds for a table and there’s no risk they’ll run out of the amazing ice cream, freshly made each day. - Inspector
- Hasan MertJune 8, 2015Burger is one of the best in NYC. Gnudi is also really delicious. Ambiance is quite nice.
- Polina WeitzSeptember 30, 2018I came for the burger, and was disappointed. While the patty is good - it comes ONLY with blue cheese. No veggies/toppings/mayo. The shoestring fries were interesting but I prefer regular fries.
- Burger BedlamFebruary 3, 2011The burger is fantastic, despite its large size, and resides in our top 5! The Blue Cheese is a bit overpowering, but tasty. Make sure you come on an off day/time or be prepared to put your name down
- Ben ChapmanApril 3, 2016Try the char-grilled burger with roquefort cheese and rosemary shoestrings - #burger #brunch #foodporn (via @Foodspotting)
- John Arthur BergFebruary 21, 2016Had the Crocque Madame, one of the day's specials. It was incredible. I would like to come back and test every item on the menu..
- Chris WheatonOctober 13, 2011best burger i have ever had plus the pig ear and chicken liver toast are to die for... totally worth the 2 hour wait. next time i am in NYC i will no doubt be back!
- Kiwi WangOctober 4, 2016Chicken liver mousse, and all the meats!! I clean the plate when I order the steak. Don't forget a pickle jar :)
- allisonJuly 5, 2015One part cozy, one part lazy, and one part romantic gastropub with delicious deviled eggs, pickles, and shoestring french fries.
- Ivana KurtovićJanuary 30, 2016Great gustropub and burgers. Great franchfries and eggs. Can'resist of not going there again when in NY, multiple times
- Elizabeth BursteinMay 19, 2019Burger was good but cheese too overwhelming and shoestring fried hard to eat
- Alexander KuzminApril 3, 2015Spotted. It's a trendy place in a trendy location. Crowdy, dark, good food and selection of beers on tap. All you like about NYC gastropubs.
- Isabella IzquierdoNovember 19, 2014Amazing burguer! Juicy and tender with roquefort! the seabass is also great! Cozy however, no reservations and subpar service...
- Karina AsheaterApril 22, 2015Great patty, good bun, nice fries. Something in there was too salty, and salty does not complement Roquefort particularly well.
- Jane KDecember 30, 2014side of brussels sprouts is a definite must!!!! (they're infused/served with hearty bacon bits! what more could you ask for)
- timoni westJuly 8, 2015All else aside the blue cheese they use on the hamburger is 100% perfect. By "all else" I mean the decor, mainly
- Andy RanaivoarivonyMay 21, 2014Honestly the best burger I've had in my entire life and I have tasted many across Europe: the chargrilled burger is the bomb.
- Christian BorgesDecember 8, 2017Deviled eggs, almonds, almost all the appetizers; cocktails are solid, food is very good (burger, etc.).
- Michelin Travel & LifestyleDecember 2, 2013Settle in for seared, crispy mackerel with smoky pancetta or moist & deliciously crisp pork belly. End with banoffee pie. – Green Guide Editor
- Serious EatsMarch 8, 2013A destination for fantastic burgers and an awesome brunch. Expect a wait and a noisy dining room.
- Adam SiemiginowskiJuly 20, 2013The ketchup is so good. I want to eat it with a spoon. The fries are a good replacement for the spoon.
- Men's Health MagNovember 10, 2011This place is a foodie haven—100 plus wines, grilled calf liver, all that jazz. The best part though? Kitchen’s open until 2 a.m., and those guys make a mean blue-cheese burger.
- Absolutely delicious (cubano special, frittata, blueberry pancakes). It is a bit unfathomable that they will not sell you a side if bacon.
- The TelegraphJuly 3, 2012For lunch head to the Spotted Pig (314 West 11th St, 001 212 620-0393, ₤25 a head) British chef April Bloomfield’s fabulous corner gastro-pub. Try the crispy pork belly with spring vegetables.
- DoubleDeuceNovember 13, 2018Even though they're going through a sizeable management/chef change, I still like this place; the food, the ambiance and the service.
- Chris PolloneJanuary 21, 2016Cool spot. Not sure that the wait is worth the hype most days. I had the famous burger, and I love salt, but it was way too salty for me. Maybe an off day.
- Sarah ProefkeSeptember 6, 2014Went for brunch - the Dutch baby was definitely the best choice! Delicious! And the staff gets a hot tamale!
- Kenneth TiongAugust 31, 2012Burger - fantastic combination of very salty blue cheese and grilled bun with tender meat. 5/5 excellent crispy fluffy shoestring fries as well.
- Dan DicenzoMay 2, 2016The gnudi and roasted carrots are excellent! Would make a good entree. Burger is very good as well.
- Sam PezzulloAugust 6, 2013I admit the burger itself was delicious, but dry. It wouldn't kill them to offer or allow alternatives to the Roquefort cheese, especially when there are other cheeses on the menu. That's just stupid.
- There is no better burger on the planet. I insist you have the rockfort without delay. Be warned, the wait is typically two hours. Leave your name and grab a drink at white horse around the corner
- Karin BäcklundJanuary 19, 2016Still a classic! Love the shoestring fries and they also have some nice vegetarian dishes every day.
- Halstead PropertyOctober 27, 2011The infamous gastropub in the west village has so many noteworthy menu items, but the Chicken Liver Toast wins it all- silky, savory, and sweet with perfect texture
- Morgan PolotanMarch 22, 2015The roasted beet salad was one of the best I've had. I also recommend the burrata and the skirt steak. Avoid the stringy fries.
- EpicuriousAugust 24, 2010Gastropubs are popping up everywhere, but the Spotted Pig is one of the best. Head down to this West Village hotspot for stellar gnudi, haddock chowder, and a couple of the hearty house ales.
- Tom MaxwellApril 7, 2019The grilled cheese at the bar is next level. Really chill place to have a beer and relax.
- The chicken liver toast is to die for and the Cubano, burger and well, pretty much everything else is fabulous too.
- Lauri HJanuary 2, 2015Wonderful food, service, beer, and cocktails. Try the burger, pork sausage and banana cake dessert. Perfect.
- Anne-SophieSeptember 27, 2015Laidback and joyfull atmosphere, for one of the best burgers in town and an impeccable culinary experience!
- BravoJanuary 28, 2010A must-stop whenever I am in NYC. Gnudi are killer, best burger, and on my last visit the peas were a revelation. -Preeti Mistry, Top Chef
- Silene LimSeptember 2, 2015Another NYC institution with solid food- the blue cheese burgers and shoestring fries and the varied great beers.
- Roniel TesslerAugust 5, 2017This place is still top notch. Gnudi and burger for sure. Deviled egg is creamy and rich, but I've had better.
- Steff HindSeptember 15, 2014Go early and put your name on the list then head out some where for a drink it is a little crowed to wait upstairs
