- Julie HanSeptember 25, 2017Loves: amberjack, big eye tuna, uni on raw shrimp, and the best: unit, roe and quail egg <3
- Czarina BehrendsJuly 17, 2019Omakase is amazing. Every bite of food was delicious. Worth every penny!
- JM ParveauxNovember 27, 2015Still expensive, yet affordable and amazingly good Omakaze! I can't wait to go back
- Quality of the fish is still top notch but everything else really dropped off. I've had better service and hospitality experiences in restaurants a third of the price
- Stephanie SunSeptember 25, 2013Incredible, intimate dining experience. The anago, ikura, and marinated albacore are amazing.
- Brendan ClancyDecember 1, 2012Chef Toshio uses red vinegar to season the sushi rice, this lets him use much less sugar and makes the sushi that much more refreshing.
- Kunwei LinDecember 1, 2013The food is very delicious and authentic! But it is 100% reservation only+2 and half months ahead.
- Get the omakase and re-order the freshest fish. Also get the Triple X.
- Adam LernerJanuary 17, 2013Great review in the Times

- Alex GodinFebruary 20, 2014Delicious Omakase for a pretty reasonable price (considering what you get).
- Mabel ChungJuly 28, 2013BYOB; there's a bodega at the opposite corner. The uni is goooooood and even the ika is yum
- D BlockFebruary 16, 2013Great omakase. No need for other dishes. Get here at 6pm to put your name down.
- Justin DeanNovember 19, 2014Some preparations don't harmonize as well as others, but overall a worthwhile omakase.
- Angela Z.July 25, 2013Try to get an earlier reservation (1st seating at 6pm) to avoid waiting 30-60 minutes for other people to finish eating before being seated...
- Stuart LevineAugust 25, 2017Just stick with the base Hinoki omasake. Ordering the additional items at the end was def not worth the $$$. In my case 4 pieces, 2 each for the two of us set us back over $75. Not worth it IMHO.
- Jason H.April 18, 2014The biggest rip off I have ever had. They use YELP SeatMe to reserve. 30 days advance. NO reminder sent. Missed reservation and they charged me $160. No option to eat there. Just took my money. AVOID!!
