DeShaun Harris: Omakase - the chef's special - is the only way to go at this high-quality sushi spot. 3 rounds of 4 unique pieces each will definitely surprise and delight.
New York Habitat: An exquisite raw fish experience with uniquely crafted pieces. Try the tuna with tofu cream, flounder with lotus chip, and the foie gras sushi.
Gene Soo: Delicious approach to fusion sushi. Go for the omakase. Tell then to stop when u are done. 10 pcs of sushi at around 75 dollars.

Vijay Paintal: Incredible meal. The best sushi I've had in NY hands down. The restaurant only seats 10 people and has 3 settings a night so it's really a great experience and the price is great
Chris Konecny: Hole in the wall, very casual and superb sushi makes for a great restaurant experience. Omakase only. BYOB
Simon Leung: If you want sushi, this the best deal in town. It still runs you $100 for the omakase (only option) but it's one of the best sushi restaurants in town.

Mar Sal: My favorite sushi in NYC. Everything I've tried has been perfect. One of the greatest things about this place is that is BYOB.
Mourad S: Amazing Sushi. Friendly staff. Byob (liquor store next door with great sake). Cash only. Oh and it's pronounced Pohkay.
Brian B: Consistently great sushi, friendly service, and the perk of BYOB. It does get crowded and loud so try to get there on the early side.

The Corcoran Group: Unassuming sushi joint that impresses with friendly service and creative house special rolls – try the Black Dragon, Tiger, Sex on the Beach and/or the Volcano.
Nina LoSchiavo: Fantastic sashimi. Incredibly fresh fish.
Angel Fleming: Best sushi in east harlem. I love the spicy tuna rolls and the eel rolls. Awesome. There bento boxes are cool too.

Halstead Property: We absolutely loved the experience from the sushi bar – if those seats are available be sure to take them. The beef teriyaki was cooked perfectly, not too tender and not too chewy.
Bollare: Get the spicy scallop hand roll, salmon with seared tomato sushi, and yellow tail with Jalepeno sushi. Call ahead for a reservation – Sarah K.
Sean Corcoran: Do yourself a favor and get the grilled yellowtail with salt and the special ankimo (monkfish liver) that is sautéed. Amazing sushi in a non-pretentious atmosphere.
Kent E: Excellent sushi. Strongly recommend the White Tiger roll
Paige C: Sushi was amazing! Appetizers and dishes were fresh, authentic and delicious. So glad to find this neighborhood gem.
dawn.in.newyork: This is definitely the freshest sushi place in the area! My go to place for Uni sushi (Sea Urchin) and other kinds of nigiri sushi. Rolls are good too, but more of nigiri sushi fan.

PHUDE-nyc: Grab a friend and go nuts with the outstandingly delicious Noah's Ark: 2 shrimp rolls, 2 crab rolls, 2 lobster rolls, 2 Empress Crab claws, 2 bags of chips and 2 sodas, all for less than $20 a person! Read more.
Laura: Very tasty sampling menu - though pretty pricey. Sat on the bench outside & people watched. Artisan root beer was gorgeous - alongside the crab claw, pickle, lobster, crab & shrimp rolls w/ CC chips
Rami: Order the Noah's Arc! Its perfect for two people. Lobster, crab & shrimp rolls with a pickle on the side. Plus your choice of chips & soda. The Mexican cola is must!

Helmut Lang: NY. Trust me this is the best sushi in NY. Hands down. You must get the omakase and trust the sushi chef. You won't regret it.
Halstead Property: Sasabune is a great place for a business lunch. You’re in and out quickly and the food quality is tops. We loved the blue crab roll, cheers to sushi chef Kenji Takahashi one of the best in the city.
Christophe Jammet: My favorite sushi spot in NYC, let alone the UES. The omakase will run you at least $100 per person, but it's worth it. Sign on wall reads: "No california roll, no spicy tuna. Trust me." Trust them.

Chelsea Scalzo: I have not had a chance to have the sushi here but I did try the bubble tea. It was good, but nothing special. However the bubbles were a great texture and the flavor (I had the taro) was not too swee
eifeh: Great deal for sushi in the UES for grab-and-go. Only a few seats for dine-in. Pick 3 basic rolls for $9.50 or 7 for $21. Call or text in advanced for pick-up. Cash only.
Paige C: Sushi quality was very poor. The rolls were cut different sizes and the rice was crumbly on every single one.

Aki Marciulionyte: Delicious sushi. Nice atmosphere. Great staff.;) nice lil spot on ues.
Diana Merrill: Super vegetarian friendly. Love their sweet potato tempura rolls. Randomly: saw Katie Couric here once.
Nina Rich: Fave rolls: peanut avocado roll, lobster wasabi roll, and spider roll. The peanut avocado roll is almost like a dessert - peanuts are honey roasted and it tastes so, so good with the avocado!!
