mike castlemanNovember 27, 2015I hate myself for liking this place more than some of the smaller bánh mì places BUT if you're looking for vegetarian food, the fake meat here is pretty decent.
LOOVEE the pork, spring roll and shrimp vermicelli! It's something about their sauce..
The classic banh mi, oh my. Wish I could get it from midtown for lunch :)- Food is cheap and delicious but beware of the long lines durinf peak hours. But the service is rushed so the wait isn't bad. Cash only.
Rice with beef cubes and egg. It's like all you need.
Love the pho but dont sleep on the papaya mango salad with lemongrass chicken!

$5 Banh mi is perfect bite to eat before after hitting Stranger Than Fiction at IFC Center. Right next door to STF hang out Alibi Lounge.
Good bahn mi and pho for the village but kinda pricey if you ask me

Bring lots of cash, because they don't take plastic and everything is delicious!
The food here is alright - just don't expect to be able to take your time to enjoy it b/c the servers will rush you out. We got handed our bill while we were in the middle of our meal :/

Soo YooOctober 22, 2017Duck banhmi is NOT Peking style, the meat is very dry and wedged in with stringy scallion. Maybe try a different dish... 😒
- The only dish you need to try here to keep coming back: sweet potato fries.
