Don't seat by the door during winter, people walks in every single second (even when there's no place to seat). You might get sick. Great food BTW.

Spring rolls are awesome and a must-try. Both the pho and cold vermicelli are very good, and they pack things really nicely for take-out.

An Artichoke location and a pho place open across the street from each other in the same week? This block is looking up! Get the combo pho--delicious broth and meatballs. A decent deal at $8.

It's not the world's best pho (why does it need to be?) but for the price point it's the best I've come across in NYC.

Bring cash (it's cash only) and order the lemongrass chicken sandwich! If you have the time, eat in for best experience, as the bread can get soggy.

The pho broth is lacking. The variety of meat cuts you'd typically find in a regular bowl costs a few dollars extra. No real chilli sauce or dipping plates. You can find much better.
