If you live in northern suburbs of chi, fly delta between LGA and MKE. Easiest airport in America.

Concourse E - Cooler by the Lake has surprisingly good food. The breakfast quesadilla is big enough for 2 & delicious. order extra salsa.
Remember to cross through the skyway on the 3rd floor from the parking lot. This will save you from having to go outside to get to the terminal.

If you're in concourse D, know that there is a moving walkway on the *lower* level but not the upper. There are escalators at both ends, so it's effectively a shortcut.
Don't forget to get your #harley stuff b4 you leave! Great gift shop b4 security.
The discombobulation area after security is so nice! Older adulta can sit down to put their shoes on. Very nice!
If you have a split flight which includes Frontier, keep in mind you have to leave security and re-enter as Frontier has a separate concourse with its own security.
Dewan TarekMarch 5, 2012Try taking the bus there. The Milwaukee transit system seems pretty reliable and convenient as well with bus stops directly by the arrivals and departure gates
Love love love the bookstore outside of security. Worth going out and in again.
Anthony ApiladoAugust 12, 2015Don't drive in circles. There's a cellphone area that you can park up to 30 mins for free.
Don't forget to do your civic duty and opt-out of the X-ray and "millimeter wave" scanners!
I've got a little to for the morons out there, if your damn "carry on" doesn't even fit down the middle aisle of the plane, it's too big and you need to check it before boarding & holding us all up.

Ellie HansonAugust 31, 2013Concourse E is brutal. Hardly a gate agent in sight, all concourse departure monitors inaccurate. I'd suggest staying pre-security before your flight as long as possible.

In Concourse C, there are comfy seats with power outlets and USB outlets by Gate 22
John ANovember 22, 2014Nice airport.. With no one inside. Best food choices are before going through security.
Park on level 3 - red section. Right level for the terminal, and closest too! Though often very full...
When you land here, take your time and perhaps grab some food as checked bags take about 30 minutes

Evan ManningAugust 18, 2013Be ready when your flying out of here. This place feels disorganized but the people are nice. Also don't get run over crossing the street to pick up your rental car. People don't stop, just walk.
You have to try Pizzeria Piccola in the C Concourse!!!! Awesome pizza and great service
Make sure to arrive early as to not be late for your flight! Safe travels all!
