Global Entry is so worth it if you travel internationally and return to LAX. Such a smooth and efficient Customs process. A+
Try out your digital boarding passes here, you can check in and board all from your phone. The good restaurants are at the international terminal. If ur going to Vegas fly Southwest.

LAX seems to always be under construction. Traffic is also super unpredictable once you get into the main loop. Best airport for flying into the west side of LA.
whatever you do, DONT GIVE CHANGE TO THE BUM OUTSIDE OF GATE 2! he'll tell everyone he's your dad and try and get in your car.
Ignore the Starbucks line in the AA terminal upon arrival - there's a little known and line-free one just downstairs by the exit.
Seriously, just park your car offsite. It’s less hassle than waiting for a ride share or asking someone to pick you up.
Jo LinAugust 24, 2014LAX now offers free WiFi. However I constantly have to reset my phone to clear out setting so I can be reconnected. The Tom Bradley terminal has been renovated and it's clearly an upgraded experience

Southwest Airlines Terminal 10 feels like a morgue. You can take a dump in peace at the very secluded bathroom.

Southwest Airlines is the best here. Always easy to check-in and fly; got me on a crucial last minute flight when Virgin refused; and somehow located me to give me my iPad I left on a plane.
First time flying Virgin, how fitting ;). Love it! So easy, staff is really cool. Love their company culture & excellent prices. I'll forgive them for playing Adam Lambert at the ticketing desk...

Shann BiglioneJanuary 12, 2012Make sure you do your shopping before you get to LAX. It has the most ridiculously small duty free shops on the world (in LA, would you believe). Also make sure you eat beforehand!

The Rock and Roll restaurant is a great place to wait for your flight as you can see several gates.

come early. airlines have a cut off time for when they accept checked baggage and when you can check in. any later and you pay to change flights since you were late. not to mention the security line.
