During the day time hours they have their carts on the opposite street and one on 53rd and 7th which I got to. Completely empty during the day.

Be patient as there are very long lines but they go really fast. Be careful of that hot sauce it's super hot.

YusufMarch 19, 2016If this is the best halal food in NYC, people in NYC is in deep trouble. I don't know how they cook it but after i eat I felt sick and almost sleepy all day. Bad stomach is the bonus effect.
Highly recommend the gyro street meat. Worth the wait!

b nNovember 5, 2009The white sauce is tahini - don't be scared. The hot sauce is TNT HOT - so if you like hot - don't go overboard. This is a gem in the city - you can't miss the lineups.
Late night drunk eats trump all in New York. This place is open till 5. Lamb platter with BBQ and lots of white sauce will set you for the evening....
In Midtown West, the epicenter of overpriced food in Manhattan, this is probably one of the cheapest, most satisfying meals you can get (except for maybe a $5 footlong @ Subway). Red sauce = VERY HOT.
They are simply the best, have been eating here since before the uniforms! Extra white sauce yummmmy- If you aren't covering everything in sight with white sauce, then you aren't eating this like a New Yorker

The same guys who camp out at 53rd & 6th and 52nd & 6th have this much-quieter halal cart a block away.
Best halal hands down! Hits the spot after a long night of drinking be easy with that hot sauce tho!
