- During the day time hours they have their carts on the opposite street and one on 53rd and 7th which I got to. Completely empty during the day.
- Brad BAugust 22, 2012The food is amazing. Well worth having to do an extra workout to work off part of the 2045 calories.
- Jamil FullerJuly 3, 2013I love spicy food and asking for BIG MISTAKE. You will burn your insides. Seriously ask for only a little.
- Be patient as there are very long lines but they go really fast. Be careful of that hot sauce it's super hot.
- Long queue and it was worth waiting for the best gyro in NY
- Dan KaoMarch 22, 2014Don't feel like waiting in line? Head one avenue over to their 7th and 53rd location. Yes, they have more than one and it's not a ruse!
- Daniel BrujisAugust 17, 2013Open late. Best chicken and rice place ever. The spicy sauce is very spicy.
- Vinny MeliAugust 14, 2013Omg. The best Gyro's in NEW YORK CITY. Vegans and Vegetarians don't know what there missing. Lol.
- Khoa LeDecember 21, 20091 of the best meals in NY is served on the street. Get TWO gyros because you'll regret only getting 1 and don't turn down the "hote sose." For some reason ALL the gyro stands in NY are ONLY found here
- YusufMarch 19, 2016If this is the best halal food in NYC, people in NYC is in deep trouble. I don't know how they cook it but after i eat I felt sick and almost sleepy all day. Bad stomach is the bonus effect.
- Highly recommend the gyro street meat. Worth the wait!

- Mariama RentoyAugust 16, 2014Huge servings! we were soo hungry and thought we could finish an order apiece, but seriously share it.
- Jonathan ChanJune 22, 2013Don't know why I keep lining up for the original cart, the five other carts from the franchise are exactly the same and have no line. Maybe the wait makes it taste better?
- Nino NavasAugust 7, 2010This halal cart us horrible! Tourists seem to love it, but do not eat it! You want real good halal? Go downtown to Leroy street and Hudson. Best halal food in town. Clean and fresh unlike 53rd garbage
- Ann DimartiniApril 20, 2012Love this famous cart. Ignore the line it goes quick. Hot sauce is hot....get it on the side.
- Jhon CarmonaJuly 8, 2011Try to come after 7:30 and order the Chicken Beef Salad with plenty of white sauce and you will like it this is good food try it
- b nNovember 5, 2009The white sauce is tahini - don't be scared. The hot sauce is TNT HOT - so if you like hot - don't go overboard. This is a gem in the city - you can't miss the lineups.
- Late night drunk eats trump all in New York. This place is open till 5. Lamb platter with BBQ and lots of white sauce will set you for the evening....
- In Midtown West, the epicenter of overpriced food in Manhattan, this is probably one of the cheapest, most satisfying meals you can get (except for maybe a $5 footlong @ Subway). Red sauce = VERY HOT.
- They are simply the best, have been eating here since before the uniforms! Extra white sauce yummmmy
- If you aren't covering everything in sight with white sauce, then you aren't eating this like a New Yorker
- Ashley AlvarezFebruary 24, 2013Best value. $7 for combo over rice with a drink. Red sauce is VERY hot. Great meal.
- Declan LeowDecember 17, 2015Biz getting gd n attitude gettin bad. operator of the halal guys are getting so arrogant. Was buying the chicken over rice for take away and ask for extra sauce, they ignored me.

- David LiMarch 20, 2013Little known secret: you can get free onions and peppers on it, you just have to ask
- The same guys who camp out at 53rd & 6th and 52nd & 6th have this much-quieter halal cart a block away.
- Best halal hands down! Hits the spot after a long night of drinking be easy with that hot sauce tho!
