Francisco FongDecember 28, 2014Modern meets old fashioned. The grounds look dated but you definitely have to see the whole pyramid thing. Buffet is meh at best, variety doesn't mean quality.

I've been coming to the Luxor for 15 years and think its a shame that they have done away with all the Egyptian lore and glamor. The hotel still has some mystique but they are going way to commercial
MicheleApril 7, 2013Titanic Exhibit is a must see!! Didn't think I would like it but going through it was moving and emotional.
Dumb check-in system takes forever even if you check in online. Apparently they don't have conditioner available. But at least you get to pay a fortune in resort fees, so that's great.

A shop laden walkway from casino to casino - Unless you're seriously focused, don't be afraid to take a detour at any of the shops or dining areas.

Ate here twice (it was comped). Hamburger not so good. Onion rings great. Second trip had the Full Stack which was better then the burger but it's a lot of p'cakes!

Ask for a room on the east side of the pyramid. The west facing rooms get hot as balls in the afternoon.
