- Erick RojasJune 6, 2013Remember to take your laptop out from any case that you may have it in at security. Also, keep in mind wearing new socks (or at least socks without holes in them).
- FlightCenter.comJanuary 3, 2012TSA TIP #4 When loading your belongings onto the x-ray belts load them in an order to help expedite at the other end. THINK, (a) suit case first, (b) laptop bags/purse, & (c) your shoe & belts tray.

- FlightCenter.comJanuary 3, 2012TSA TIP #5 Once through the x-ray machines take your belongings (trays) off the belts & get re-packed & dressed in the areas designated for this rather than holding up the lines at the x-ray machines.
- James TrivlisDecember 4, 2011Since your at LaGuardia Airport (LGA): For $2.25 or one Metrocard swipe, you can get downtown via the MTA M60 bus which connects to the N/R Train, also goes across bridge to 125th . Faster then a cab

- FlightCenter.comJanuary 3, 2012TSA TIP #1: Before getting to the screening check points clean out your clothing pockets as well as any metals/jewelry etcetera and put them into your carryon bags (or jacket pockets) ahead of time.
- John PasierbowiczJanuary 3, 2013look for the priority line at each security checkpoint as it will save you time if you qualify. Especially if someone breaches security so everyone there has to go through security a second time!
- Flying AA? There are two cab lines when leaving LGA. When you get to bag claim, take a right when you step outside, go all the way to the end. It's a much shorter line. There are always cabs waiting
- The CIBO express food markets (spot the blue and white logo) sells terrific grab-n-go. Really. Fresh and tasty with variety and decent prices. I now look forward to that when I fly.
- Jen LFebruary 27, 2012Dial 7 car service is great. It maybe a tiny bit more expensive than a cab (or maybe less during rush hour) but you will have a peace of mind knowing they will be there at your convenience
- City of New YorkFebruary 25, 2013Did you know ? The airport has been through 3 names: Glenn H. Curtiss Airport, North Beach Airport then New York Municipal Airport-LaGuardia Field
- Lowest prices guaranteed for Preferred Guests on Rovia. Http://MyConquest.Rovia.com. Log in and see for yourself!! RateShrinker technology sends you a refund when your flight or hotel price lowers!
- Great enhancements to the Delta terminal in recent years. Use one of their iPad stations to play games or watch the news while waiting for your flight.
- Checkin unlocks 20% discount at shops and eateries - BUT you have to give them a print out. I'm at an airport - how am I gonna print it ? Defeats purpose of 4square. Auntie Annie get w modern times
- Laura Prego-OrtizFebruary 15, 2013So cool – free use of iPad when you arrive. You can also have an espresso and brioche while you relax.
- Current construction makes parking and entering the airport a challenge. Allow yourself a bit more time.
- Travel + LeisureJuly 30, 2012Didn’t have time to shop in the city? Head to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Store in the Central Terminal, selling everything from canvas prints to handcrafted jewelry.
- KatherineAugust 10, 2014The best way to get into the city, no matter your final destination, is the Airport Flyer. Takes you from LGA to Grand Central for $13.
- Kelvin LeeMay 14, 2015Even though Term D is for domestic flights, some international flights still use it, and there is NO duty free. So grab your liquor and smokes BEFORE!
- FYI, toothpaste cannot be more than 3 oz in your carry on. TSA is worried you might use it in a hostile takeover of the airplane and everyone will have minty fresh breath.
- Drew MorganApril 14, 2013It's a nice place to eat breakfast on the weekend. I live five minutes away, so it's a favorite Friday and Saturday breakfast watering hole.
- SamanthaMarch 5, 2014What a beautiful place. Lots of room near the gates. Nice people who don't ignore you as you wait for service. Free wifi and good snacks. Oh wait...
- Make sure to stop at Fresthetic in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for some fresh tees, accessories and Art. A must when visiting NYC
- If you're looking for a cab at Terminal C, make a right and walk 350 feet - there's a second stand at a traffic circle with a better taxi-to-passenger ratio (and no black cab touts).
- Megan ThwaitesSeptember 16, 2013If you're taking the M60 from the city to the airport remember: if you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late. If you're late you're left!
- Say what you will about the physical state of LGA, at least it has extensive TSA pre check (JFK does not) and it is quicker to get to than JFK from most points in NYC.
- Order a breakfast sandwich from Centerplate with eggs only (on ciabatta). It's quite massive and costs $3.
- Monica LinkApril 14, 2011Airport smaller than expected, but big enough to miss your plane if you're not there early. The food is great and the shops have last minute stuff to buy for family and friends looking for Big apple m
- If you have a flight out of the b gates, make sure you get there really early. The line can be ridiculous.
- Sam AnthonyDecember 15, 2017Terrible. One of the worst airports I've been to (and I've been to a lot). Always insanely crowded. Absolutely 0 vegan options (which is sad considering it's nyc). Flights always delayed.
- If you get delayed go see Mtene at XpresSpa in Delta Terminal C. Get the neck & back message to get rid of all your travel stresses. $55 for 30 mins - worth it!
- Ken LukMarch 5, 2014After experiencing Pearson on a regular basis, it's very strange to see an airport with regular height ceilings (12ft). Looks like the lower level of Union Stn.
- LaGuardia Airport (LGA)November 26, 2013Starting at 11am tomorrow, stop by the #FiveGuys #LGA Terminal B location, say secret code “Save the Turkeys, give me my burger" to the cashier & win a free $10 gift card! First 10 passengers win!
- Another favorite launch and landing pad for the NY Cosmos, LGA welcomed the team back from their 2013 NASL Soccer Bowl Championship victory! If you see the team on their way to a game, snap a pic!
- I have more places to sit, eat, pee & feel air conditioning in my house than the entire @SouthwestAir terminal here.
- Felipe GarciaMarch 19, 2019If there’s any construction work happening, you better get in early. Signs may be misleading and you probably will need to walk more than usual to get to places.
- Gate D is at Terminal B. I can only assume this exists to stress me out. Give yourself ATLEAST 30 mins to clear security. And try a traditional cab over Uber.
- I love you, New York, but your airport is an absolute hole. Sad, but true.
- Brad MarleyJuly 30, 2013If you are flying out of Concourse C and are hungry, eat before you go through security. Unless Au Bon Pain is your favorite restaurant. If that's the case, there's one in the concourse.
- Older airport but super easy to get in and out of. People complain about it but there are so many coming and going and they do a good job!
- Perhaps the PANYNJ ought to show NYC some respect and upgrade LGA. ITS A THIRD WORKD AIRPORT IN A FIRST WORLD CITY! This is a disgrace and insult to NYC.
- Yitz JordanApril 19, 2012Come prepared if you have a departing flight, you can get through security mad quick if you have everything in order. This is NEW YORK, don't hold up the security lines :-)
- ℋumorousJune 7, 2012If you take a Viagra while waiting in the security queue, it will still work by the time you get to the body scanner! ☺
- A cab from the city to LGA or vice versa should run about $36. Don't go for the smooth talking curbside attendants trying to get you into the city for $65. Scammy
- Love the fact that you have an electric outlet pretty much everywhere... And iPads are all over the place as well!
