How have I never gotten the tartare here before. ENORMOUS portion.
House-made chips and dip is the best late-night drunk snack. Trust.
King crab leg is an amazing appetizer. Or meal with Island Creek Duxbury oysters. Best oysters around.

order any Manhattan variant (pretty much any drink named for an area of NYC), these include: Greenpoint, Prospect Park, Brooklyn, etc. sublime drinks, all.
Definitely recommend the Old Cuban! Also the steak tar tar.
Go to Eastern Standard. Sit at the bar and tell the bartender what you like. Drink whatever concoction they put in front of you. Repeat until you reach nirvana.

Get everything on the cocktail menu, but especially the whiskey smash. No better cocktail bar in Boston. Period.
Get a Double Wide -- not the trailer home, but the tasty bourbon based cocktail.
