Nice just to walk around. The flower vendors are better than anywhere else because they are so fresh.
I love the fresh produce and baked goods! And samples are awesome too!

Windfall farms for the best greens! Eckerton for tastiest tomatoes in summer.
Go during the week for the best selection. I love the local yogurt and the Finnish rye bread.

the rocambole garlic from keith's farm is fantastic (on saturdays, they're towards the north-east corner). i also like picking up a bag of broken pretzels from the martin's pretzels booth.
Buy a head of GMO lettuce from Pathmark. Swap it with a head of greenmarket lettuce. Watch someone buy it. Follow them home. After they bite in yell "GOTCHA! Monsanto Wins Again!!"

Show up at the end of the day (around 5:50) for some great last minute deals. Farmers would rather sell their produce for cheap than load it back on the truck

James Durr typically on the east side of the park on Saturdays has the best selection of flowers for very, very reasonable prices. Plus, they usually last a week, or longer!

Martin's Handmade Pretzels are awesome & they give samples. Buy a bag of 'broken' -- cheaper, just as tasty & besides the whole ones are so big, snackers are likely to break them anyway.
