Get them to make you some mini rolls from scratch! My fave are avocado & cooked tuna in wild rice. Teriyaki chicken & raw salmon are awesome here too!

Certainly the best sashimi within the area. Make sure to book to avoid queuing for dinner. Unagi Roll (pictured) and Teriyaki Chicken Roll are also amazing.

Get yourself a loyalty card if you intend to visit regularly. They hand them out at the counter. For every $10 spent, it gets chadded (punctured in case u didn't know about the US election term)
Get the curry. Japanese curry is quite unique, tasty, and in Sydney quite hard to find. I had Japanese curry for the first time in Tokyo, and Jipang's version reminds me of Japan.
The teriyaki chicken or beef ramen is awesome - generous serving but could get a little salty near the end! My personal fav for a light lunch: chanko gohan.
The ton-toro tonkotsu shoyu ramen is to die for! Beautifully seasoned slices of pork.

Superb service, our hosts treated us like family & offered playful banter. Highly recommend the Lantern Degustation featuring Hu Yao Pork Belly & mind blowing Sticky Date Pudding. Sake Sangria a must!
