The butternut squash enchilada is great, and the Sage cocktail is delicious - sweet without being too sweet, with wonderful tangerine notes.
Advertised as "Tex Mex" but it's not (IMO, and I lived in Austin for 20+ years) but it's damn fine Mexican food. Damn fine.
The food is always excellent. Depending on the change in the menu the pureed cauliflower and skirt steak is a recurring favorite. Chill atmosphere and one of my more favorite stops for a cocktail.
St John's burger (add bacon), the Swiss/shroom burger, and the fries are all crazy good. Server was super fun and friendly.

I always order the queso fundido con chorizo (instead of chips and guac). It is gloriously delicious.
Order the ridiculously-good guacamole. Don't worry- "market price" is about the same price as the other appetizers (~$8 when I visited).
Really nice vibe. Food was surprisingly good (go for the steak). Nice scenery when it comes to the ladies. Middle aged crowd. When I make it out again, I will definitely swing in.

Great location! Friendly staff. Whole Foods, starbucks, FedEx within spitting distance. Great rooms with a generous bathroom that opens into the bedroom. Can't compliment enough.

We love our neighborhood Viva Mexico. While the fare is not fancy, but still really good, the service is great! Sweet family!
El pastor tacos were great!! Service good.. Seated promptly and beverages refilled often. Fun atmosphere to boot.
