Start with the fried calamari and move on to a couple of handrolls and ramen. If you're unsure of anything, ask and they'll let you know what's best.
Really enjoyed the paitan ramen. Chicken gyoza and karaage are also top notch.

Late night happy hour is the best deal in Portland. The steak tips are great as is the burger. Don't get me wrong...the real restaurant is great as well but the late night happy hour is a treat.
The late night happy hour is great but the bar is cozy so get there early for a seat and have a glass of wine or cocktail before it gets packed.
Go to the famous Ringside Steakhouse for amazing meat... but if and want to save some $, just go to their small bar late night and get the steak bits or their incredible Gorgonzola bacon burger. Read more.
This place is amazing. Try the Lak Sa (noodle soup) and Coco-Cauliflower dish. Warm, savory and just the right amount of spice. Pair with ginger tea or green Thai iced tea.

Awesome grilled cheese and chipotle tomato soup. Little pricey for the burgers and sandwiches. Good veg options and don't charge extra for a portobello or veggie patties.
Mac and cheese - omnivore style. The little crumblies make this plate so good! Best Mac and cheese I've had in the city.
Super attentive and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and well-maintained.

Great hotel overlooking the water onto Mt. Hood. Staff is extremely helpful and the bistro is a great place to mingle if traveling on your own
