Mock eel here is better than real eel pretty much anywhere. The veggies and noodles are all worth a spin, but the dumplings are... somehow dauntingly huge. Tasty, just large.

Love the atmosphere and the food! Everything comes in big portions (family style = for share). Highly recommend Chicken dry pepper (spicy level 5). Not recommend tofu with meat. Definitely come back!

Especially vegetal-tasting soy milk and great fresh tofu. The freshly steamed rice rolls are among the best in Chinatown, but note that they're only made until about 4 pm.
Been meaning to come to this hole-in-the-wall takeout for Fishballs & vast assortment of Steamed Rice Rolls - esp the Dried Shrimp "Cheong Fun"- but can't ever make it in time before 3:30pm close!

Big tray chicken. Make sure you ask them to add hand-pulled noodles to it.
Props for the big tray of chicken (大盘鸡) and pancake with pork (肉夹馍）Seriously the MOST authentic Chinese hole-in-the-wall gem. The dishes are similar to Xi'an, but only more spicy and well-flavored.
Pork buns are simple and awesome here. If you're adventurous try the jalapeño poppers - they aren't too spicy!
