Amazing japanese breakfast with porridge/ congee just done right with pickled beetroot, seaweed and mushrooms. Healthy wholesome vegetarian breakfast.
Very vegan-friendly place: the atsu-age (fried and grilled tofu) and kaiso (seaweed) udon noodle soup are delicious.
Kaiso udon (mixed seaweed) was really yummy! Loved the different flavors and textures.

I think is overrated! It has 9 classic temaki only, and the seaweed was dry!

Very cozy, lovely staff. Took both available skewer sets, seaweed salad and it was a perfect meal for two. Add some plum wine to finish the dinner!
True japanese izakaya. Superb quality fish. Never had a disappointing experience. Have to try their amazing skewers prepared right in front of you on the indoor charcoal grill by a master chef.

Excellent shrimp tempura, delicious scallops sashimi and seaweed salad. Service was not great, our waitress was a bit difficult to understand and unable to recommend drinks or dishes.
Wow! The food at Roka is nothing over the top but amazingly fresh & tasty food. Order from al carte to try diff dishes: deep fried Aubergine, tuna tartare w/caviar and rock shrimp & banana puffs

You should splurge and choose a lot of side orders. We took bulgogi, deep fried chicken, dukbokgi and with side dishes; salad, sliced garlic, seaweed, and 3 kinds of kimchi. It was cheap and good.
