They really love making (and talking about) coffee. It comes through in their espresso, which is hands-down the best in the entire Boston area.
Been to a lot of coffee shops. Their espresso is some of the smoothest and best. The Gibraltar (cortado) is fantastic and served in a shot glass. I drive from Brookline just to get it with my wife.
The espresso coffees are some of the best in the city. Lattes, mochas, short blacks are all extremely well made.
World's best latte? The spiced butterscotch latte! You have to try it to believe it!

Beautiful interior, not too busy, quiet, good soundtrack, and most importantly, excellent espresso. On top of all they they also have a great tea selection and make tasty liege waffles in house.

Oatmeal meal is fantastic! Really hits the spot for a warm, filling breakfast. Espresso is solid. Matcha latte is the real deal here - not sweet at all, just bitter (like true matcha).
Best coffee in Somerville! They have specialty lattes, amazing brunch and a sweet ambiance. Lookout for their coffee tastings!
BEAUTIFUL café serving the BEST mochas ever! Not syrup, not powder, but actual chocolate chips melted by Stumptown Espresso and finished off with steamed milk.

This place is best for their dark chocolate, but they also pull the best shot of espresso in Harvard Square (unless you hike it to Simon's). Try both!

The younger sister shop to barismo, this fresh new high volume cafe quickly has become a Cambridge favorite. Excellent espresso and drip coffee, full kitchen. Fresh retail stocked twice a week.

This place has AMAZING hot chocolate. Iced mochas, too (for some reason better than the hot mochas).
Every espresso drink is stellar. I sometimes get the mocha as a treat. Iced or hot, it's the best i've had anywhere else. Not too sweet. The right balance of coffee/chocolate/milk. Delicious.
One of the few places in town that does a great cortado. Also get there before 10 for the freshest bagels and breakfast sandwiches

The juices are great and the avocado toast is average. The vibe inside is amazing - so warm and cozy. Coffee sizes are perfect. Great place for a latte and a book.
