- Jon BurlandOctober 13, 2012Food is good - the people who work there try to act a little too cool when you ask to get a seat downstairs.
- Trey PinonAugust 11, 2010For tacos, get them from the taco stand, from the cafe go for the tortas, if you want tequila downstairs is where you need to be.
- Jacky G.December 28, 2011The bar is nice but el pollo con potatoes left something to be desired and then string beans were burned. The ambiance is great though so I will give this place another chance.
- BollareNovember 28, 2012Skip the downstairs restaurant and eat at the side café instead — much cozier and you don’t need a reservation.
- Marisa TomAugust 15, 2011Any of the tacos are pretty bomb. Carnitas, carne asada... always good choices.
- Tinge de Pollo tacos are best. After that bistec. Dinner downstairs better than drinks downstairs.
- Breakfast tacos but only during the week. Make the effort and get 'em. You won't be disappointed.
- If you're getting take out, 2 pulled pork tacos and a house salad just hit the $15 credit card minimum. And they're simultaneously filling and not-too-guilty-feeling.
- Chefs FeedAugust 22, 2014Sisha Ortuzar, chef of Riverpark, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Tacos de lengua. Read more
- El Diablo - cucumber and jalapeño-infused repesado tequila goodness.
- Nicholas LeyMarch 15, 2013They turn corn on the cob into an art. I order 3 and call it a day. Not without my margarita first tho ;)
- The Criterion CollectionApril 1, 2011Not always an exclusive downtown hot-spot. In 1984, the corner of Cleveland and Kenmare hosted one of New York's most spectacular cinematic showdowns. Read more
- Angie MonroyNovember 28, 2015Great food! Bad service. Very loud music to eat in the restaurant, very few solutions from the staff!
- Seline JungMay 3, 2015Tacos tasty enough but not life-changing. Service is slow - waited 20 min for two tacos for takeout.
- Our Man On The GroundJune 17, 2011A very deceptive entrance gives way to a wonderful Mexican restaurant and celeb hotspot. Need to book 3 weeks ahead. Read more
- Nick BogartAugust 9, 2017The food is excellent but the service inside was lackluster at best. Perhaps it was an off night. I'd still come back.
- PaulFebruary 7, 2015Moderately priced. Ratings are much higher than what you get. Their meals and drinks are prepared so doesn't take long to get served. Tiny place.
- David GreenbergerAugust 10, 2014Pretty good tacos but doesn't live up to the hype. Set expectations accordingly and enjoy.
