- Sarah BJuly 3, 2014I prefer getting a $2.50 slice at another place then having to get a whole pizza for $40 that wasn't even as good. Pizza was soggy. Not enough cheese. Service was terrible and we were 1 of 2 tables.
- Josh Weinberger (@kitson)November 20, 2009OK, battlestations: Time to throw down for the best pizza. Lombardi's, Patsy's, Grimaldi's -- whatever. This is the stuff. Tell your friends. (Bleecker St. only, please.) Read more
- Carole LoomisMay 27, 2015Not sure what the hype is about. Okay pie. Don't bother with the salad - un ripe tomatoes etc. With so many other choices I wouldn't bother with this one.
- amooliaApril 7, 2011Get a pie, burn the roof of your mouth, have no regret. The calzoni is for cheese LOVERS.
- Thomas PajorJuly 29, 2015Way overpriced. The pizza was alright, but $3 for any topping, even garlic. Seriously? Also the small size is too big for one person to eat.
- Dan EchlinJanuary 1, 2015Not by default, but > 1 online reviews recommend going for it w/o cheese. not sit-down
- Erica SklarJune 4, 2010Joe's is better, go to 6th and head north about a half block. Real city style slices
- CompassJuly 24, 2013The Bleecker Street pizzeria has been slinging brick-oven pies since 1929. Don’t be fooled by the toppings; its plain pie is one of the best this city has ever seen.
- delicious pizza, but no jalapenos. you're welcome to bring your own, though!
- Kathryn YuAugust 8, 2010Not as good as it used to be, but hits the spot when they cook it long enough for some char. Get takeout if you can't stand the line.
- leah chengFebruary 7, 2012Good, but stingy with the toppings. Their meatballs are huge/dense but flavorless. Sorry but Grimaldi's is better.
- Todd BourneApril 6, 2012Had the meatball and olive pizza. Sadly it was lacking in character. Barely a pass. Certainly unworthy of the hype.
- Alex PyatetskyOctober 13, 2020Good, but not best in city. Surprisingly, coal oven didn’t have much impact on texture, flavor etc. Kind of just a good, bready pizza. Not something I’d rush back to (esp for price), but glad I tried.
