- P.F. Chang’s in the A Terminal is always great for a layover. Also the Xpress Spa is a treat for a long week of travel!

- Hometown airport. Very efficient and plenty of shopping/food options before or after flight. Recommend TSA pre-check to quickly go through security.

- Adrien PellerinNovember 28, 2013When arriving, get in the front car of the "Plane Train". Once you arrive at the Baggage Claim stop, you'll be able to rush to the top of the escalator toward the exit, instead of waiting in line.
- Sergio INovember 1, 2014So much to do in this airport... Not s bad place for s long layover. If you are in the Gate B area, try the Gourmet Burgers near gate B28. Awesome!
- Flying with dogs? Park in West Economy lot -- you'll pass a dog park on the way in to South Terminal and there's also a shuttle right there to the new international terminal.
- Don’t pay a crazy Uber fee from airport. Take the rental car center tram to Gateway Center. Call your rideshare from the Marriott at a fraction of the cost. https://lyft.com/igi/TYLER279363

- Eat at One Flew South in Terminal E. Excellent service and even better food! You won’t be sorry.

- For it’s size, ATL is pretty well run. If you rented a car, be sure to give yourself extra time to get from the car center to the terminal.

- FlightCenter.comJanuary 4, 2012TSA TIP #4 When loading your belongings onto the x-ray belts load them in an order to help expedite at the other end. THINK, (a) suit case first, (b) laptop bags/purse, & (c) your shoe & belts tray.
- Best sky clubs. Food outside security is good. International terminal is great for food, space. Terminal A is a bit tight.

- Delta is the best to fly here at ATL. Just don't leave anything on the plane when arriving here (electronics, books, magazines...) they will magically disappear (especially Delta at ATL).
- Vivian AtlasJune 24, 2013Great shopping! If you're headed for the Caribbean, it's not considered a transatlantic flight, so if you're in 1st class and want to use the SkyClub, you're out of luck.
- Brioche Doree Café, concourse A just off the escalator next to the book store. It's tucked away, very easy to miss, best coffee in the airport, and never a line.

- Speed thru the TSA line by keeping a compartment in your bag free to dump all your stuff from your pockets. Belt, wallet, phone, etc. You will only need two bins (shoes and laptop) and you're set!

- Have beat the train EVERY time in traversing the concourses - no sweat. Take the train if you have small kids or a disability...otherwise the walk is nice after hours cramped into those seats.

- In the Delta terminal Concourse A, there are a number of food choices, including P.F. Chang. Sky club is next to A17.
