The Fox theater is one of the most spectacular places to visit that remains from old Detroit. Many Americans are unaware that Detroit was the Paris of America. When the auto industry died, so did it.
Upvoted 2 weeks ago- Fantastic choice of performers. This venue mixes it up on a regular basis from theater to concerts to comedy acts, one of the most historic buildings in Detroit worth the visit!

musiclungeJune 2, 2011If you're in Detroit, you have to check out a concert here! This is one of the most beautiful old theaters left in the country. They don't build them like this anymore. The accoustics are amazing and- Last we went, John Oliver was doing a comedy act. My father and I receded only 30 feet away, one of the greatest things about this theater, is that all seating is quality.

HISTORYApril 22, 2010Opened in 1928, the Detroit Fox is one of 5 Fox Theaters across the United States. It was the first movie theater in the world to be constructed with built-in equipment for sound films.

Watch out for ghosts!- Sesame Street Live at the Fox - come early for a chance to dance along with your favorite fuzzy friends!
