    Skip the audio tour. It plays almost no music and offers little different info from the placards.

    Tickets are only $14 after 4 pm but the hall closes at 5 pm. They do have discounts for seniors, AAA, & military.

    i don't care at all about country music after the mid-eighties (read: strode right past it all) and i still managed to spend over two hours in there!

    Membership is the best deal in town for music lovers. The Saturday morning songwriter sessions are always good. The Ford Theatre is a great room, not a bad seat!

    Go to the Hampton Inn one block away to get the guest parking for $6/10hrs rather than the official parking lot at the site, which is $20 apiece.

    Self guided admission is overpriced unless you really love country music. And blasting t-swift ad Justin Beiber upstairs is unacceptable.
