    Expat martini was aromatic and delicious, pickled tomatillo for the win! Smoked cobia and the duck carnitas were great. Unique wine program is an unexpected surprise!

    Great for lunch, brunch or dinner. Dinner: they suggest sharing 6 courses for 2. I'd say 4 to 5 are enough especially if you get the duck carnitas and the meringue. Brunch: BEST HUEVOS RANCHEROS EVER!

    Unfortunately, several notches below any of the Olvera places in Mexico. The mole is top notch, but the more original creations dare too much and achieve too little.

    Regardless of reservations as per previous tip, it's all artfully prepared with perfect ingredients. Duck was a standout for taste and value. Service was good and expertly informed.

    Very hip but comfortable spot. Duck carnitas are much more filling and delicious than the rest of the menu, but everything here's tasty! 3 dishes to 2 people.

    If this dinner would have costed half the price, it would still be expensive. Don’t get me wrong: the dishes are ok- but nothing justifies their price. The pros: great cocktails and the corn merengue.

    Been here 10+ times
    Crazy pricey but the flavors are WOW. They recommend 3 dishes per person for a full meal but it's more like 2 or 1 for a light meal. My party of 5 shared 8 dishes and it was too much.

    Duck carnitas...outrageously overpriced, although the husk meringue is a near perfect dessert. Aesop soap and inexplicable bathroom pay phones round out the experience.

    Trendy setting. Duck carnitas is the way to go. Cobia al pastor was good. Skip the NY strip for tacos, beef is not juicy enough for tacos.

    Cobia al pastor is outstanding. If you are ordering duck carnitas be aware it's going to be a lot of food even for three people, but really worth it.

    The place is amazing, but go with an open mind - don't expect typical Mexican food. Expect GOOD Mexican food but with a gourmet twist.

    Crack into the husk meringue (made from burnt, blended corn husks). It's a delicately sweet/savory pod filled with a mousse of cream, sugar and mascarpone.

    Incredible inventive modern Mexican food, similar in philosophy to Pujol, the chef's flagship in Mexico City. You're not going here for the guacamole.

    The bean salad and branding pair nicely. The guac is among the best in the city, and the interior is beautiful. Great spot to take clients.

    Have been many times. Food is good and consistent but service is always disappointing. Order the cobia al pastor and husk meringue - you won't be disappointed.

    Come with a reservation because the hosts are douchey. The food was amazing (try the Duck) and our bartender, Alexis was awesome.

    Large private room in the back sat 14 easily. Loved the duck carnitas and merengue corn desert. Will definitely be back

    The duck carnitas are delicious, very moist and flavorful, but a little overpriced for what they are. The calamari is very unique and a must get.

    Duck carnitas are amazing. Portions are not as small as people are saying. Excellent service. Pricey for what it is and not up to Pujol's level, but still worth it.

    Reservations are apparently booked out for the next two months. One bite of the Burrata with Salsa Verde or the Duck Carnitas, though, and you'll know why.
