Get a glass of fresh-squeezed OJ, and a side of pickles and hummus to start off. Can't go wrong with the Moroccan Benedict or Goat Cheese Omelette.

One of my fav restaurants. The grilled chicken skewer is delicious and extra yummy with a side of hummus. They have the best falafel I've tried as well. If I'm alone, I'll eat outside and people watch

One of our favorite East Village haunts. Sit at the bar, chat up the mix of locals and have one of the best $9 eggs/potatoes/toast/oj/espresso this side of the East River.

With an outdoor seating area that looks out on St. Marks Place, you'll have plenty of people watching to keep you busy. Alternatively, the bartenders are great company as well.
