- FastPark is the key. I've tried every option on site... Car to terminal service, shuttles every 5 min, free bottled water and news paper... And it's 8 bucks. Stay away from the daily lot.
- Laura HoweNovember 23, 2010Skip high priced taxis and the irritatingly long trip on Super Shuttle. Take Amtrak to and from DC. It's only $14, super fast and runs every 30 min or so from 5:30 am to 9:30 pm.
- It's all about the terminal at BWI. Southwest terminal rocks while D terminal (airtran, us airways etc) is a notch above the 7th layer of he'll. Just sayin.
- Alyssa WarrickMarch 12, 2013Granted it was a Tuesday early morning flight, but security was SUPER FAST at Terminal D. Much faster than Reagan Airport on a Tuesday AM.

- Make sure you get good for the longer flights...plenty of options
- If you packed a garment bag, the steward(ess) might have space to hang/stow your bag in the closet when you board...
- New C security checkpoint will get you to A and B gates but is a ghost town compared to the A and B checkpoints.
- You can go through any security checkpoint to grab dinner as long as you have a boarding pass for that day. It doesn't matter what airline you're flying.

- Silver Diner is a great place to dine for long layovers.

- If you're going to D.C. go South. Headed to Baltimore? Go North. Headed for trouble? Go straight to hell. Thanks for the ride; it's been pleasant.

- Tatum VayavanandaJuly 8, 2010If you're an evening arrival, have your people pick you up upstairs at departures; Few are there that late and no one is hassling you to move your car and it's much easier to spot your pick up.
- Airport police drive black SUVs and have no problem pulling people over for speeding in the arrival/departure areas. Just watched two people get tagged.

- Marlon AlaanMarch 25, 2015Please watch your speed on your way to the airport. Cops don't care even if you're already running late to catch your flight.
