Don't let them push you around! Assert your power when you 1st get there or they'll force things on you you don't want i.e. the bread covered with rice paper. We made that mistake as first timers.

usually go on weekends, but a pretty solid work-lunch option during the week. Carts much more easily available.

Weekend crowds get crazy starting at about 11am, but authentic and tasty, solid dim sum in a Chinese banquet hall.

Push cart dim sum in a huge space. Best to go with as many people as possible to try a lot of different things.

Kind of a madhouse. You can discretely slip the person working the door downstairs a $10 and he/she will sit your party immediately.

Truly massive in size, and less frenetic than Golden Unicorn, but with equally great dim sum.

Get here before 2pm, or the selection gets super slim and you may have to resort to non-dimsum entrees to satisfy your appetite (and senses).

Saturday dim sum. For a bonus treat try to snag a lychee mimosa when the alcohol cart comes your way.

It's much, much bigger on the inside (sort of a Chinese Tardis), and the carts full of Dim Sum never seem to end. You'll spend an hour in line, and even longer eating.

Reasonably good dimsum, almost comparable to Golden Unicorn. Which one of these two you choose should really just be up to how long the lines are.

When you enter, go to the right. You'll be closer to the kitchen, and later in the afternoon it won't empty out as much.

Best (and perhaps most reasonably priced) Peking Duck in Chinatown. Only $17! But make sure you get it from the Chinese menu (not the menu w/ the picture).
