Just got back from Et Voila, excellent meal! Wife had mussels pastis, I the traditional Belgian beef stew. Staff, food and over all experience was great.
Every neighborhood deserves an Et Voila!, a source of Belgian steamed mussels and beer-based beef stew that is priced for regular workdays.
It is the best steak frites in the city, if you appreciate real Belgium steak frites. And the owner and all staff are awesome. And the scene is vibrant and warm. Very European. Don't miss it.
Love the Old Ebbitt, what a fabulous tradition and and DC institution. A close friend and I have lunch there weekly. Never had a bad meal there, and prices aren't bad, either. Gr8 fried oyster stew!
Waitress said its one of the oldest bar/saloons in the US. Extensive menu - didn't try the oysters but they looked good. My Guinness beef stew was solid and flavorful

Best and most authentic Ethiopian food I've ever had! Everything is delicious, but my favorite was the beef tongue and tripe stew. Also try the mango juice
