James Yu: Come here to get all sorts of fresh produce. Very friendly vendors. Much better than the crowded and touristy Ferry Building farmer's market. Cheaper too.
Mister Archer: Give back to the community and volunteer at Alemany. When you give, you also receive... much good will, along with a bountiful harvest of fresh produce. Philanthropy never tasted so good. Read more.
Anthony Nudo: Great deals on fresh produce. Come here early before they run out!

Winson Wong: Great new grocery store in the neighborhood. Lots of variety of cheeses, wines, ciders, fresh produce and everything. Friendly staff as well.
Eugene Kim: Good local grocery store with fresh produce and solid prepared food (especially like their made-to-order sandwiches). Also has a really great wine selection w/ lots of local wineries.
Chloe Condon: Everything is amazing here!
Jia Min Cheng: The chicken! Is the best chicken ever! And the fresh produce prices are so much better than Whole Foods. Worth the trek for me even though WF is way way closer.
Rachel: HSM packs a lot into a small space. Great range of fresh produce and even better cheese and deli counters. Quirky but unpretentious in atmosphere, it's by far and away the neighborhood's best market.
Russell Allen Esmus: I think this is the best indie grocery store in SF. When I worked on Haight, I would get lunch here every day. They have a variety of salads, sushi, and sandwiches ready to go at their deli counter.
Jacquinn Scales: Great selection of fresh produce!!!
Erica Kochi: Fantastic fresh produce for much cheaper than whole foods
Ashley Mowrey: Bulk bin everything. Weird, new, and random vegan things. Literally the best vegan cheese selection you'll find. Actually, their whole cheese selection is legit. Locally made and owned everything.
Days of Dogpark: Great, fresh Produce.
Vanessa Ramirez: LOVE the prepared foods at Sukhi's stand. My favorites are the Roasted Eggplant Spread and Veggie Paratha. And the samosas, of course. They will always make you a deal if you buy a few things, too!
John Viet: It's like doubled in size since June! So amazing!

Laura C: The place to go for local, organic, and sustainable snacks and groceries. Produce here is always fresh and there are lots of samples offered. They cater and have a seasonal deli with a changing menu.
Bravo: The epitome of a neighborhood grocery. You will never figure out how they pack so much into that little store. Family-owned and committed to supporting local farmers and producers. -Preeti Mistry, Top
