Hamburger, French dip, fish sandwich, salmon appetizer - all great options still. Ribs are good - always a good backpocket option, Bartlett's is.
The ribeye is just plain amazing.
On wed they have $9.99 sirloin steaks with two sides and a drink. I like the Caesar salad and a baked potato. The sweet tea is killer also, and don't forget the rolls. They rock!!
You can grab peanuts for free. Just throw 'em skin on the floor. Don't forget to buy the Roadhouse Gold steak sauce for only $3

Great service happy hour is affordable even for those on a college budget. Great food as well and some really modern furnishings and architecture.
We highly recommend the Big Ass Burger, unless you're too embarrassed to order a burger with a ridiculous name like that.

The independently owned Austin Land & Cattle serves steaks that are succulent, tender, and cooked as-ordered, and you get three sides with your entrée. One downside: Parking can be a real bitch.

I am shocked by the complaints here. We live nearby and eat here at least weekly, and have never had a rude waitress or slow service. Food's excellent, prices are great, and we always leave happy.
Excellent service, nice atmosphere, great food. Had dinner in the restaurant section but would try the bar area since it was more lively. Booking is must. Went mid week & the place was buzzing by 6pm
Really nice vibe at this chophouse - great music too. The potato puffs were ridic, and of course the bread service from Red Ash is a must. Crab cake was all crab. Steak and cocktails both fine
Happy Hour EVERYDAY $6 martinis, wines, and apps...and ! a bacon cheese burger with onion rings or shoestrings potatoes for $6!

The cuts are perfect. Service is on the slow side but the deliciousness that is the ribeye takes time to cook. Staff is consistently friendly.
