Kevin OhlsonJune 9, 2013Check in early. Be on time. If an airline asks you to switch seats, be polite and patient. It WILL payoff in upgrades.
There is now a Popeye's chicken across from Gate B13. Therefore, everyone on your flight has fried chicken, and your flight's odors adjust accordingly.

If you're injured and have a cast/boot/etc, plan for a few extra mins at security. And remember to be nice to the guards; they're just doing their job!

Not a fan of the new design — lots of walking. They ruined a great airport. Lots of people not wearing masks or not wearing them properly.

If you are a frequent flyer of Delta then make sure you sign up for the delta rewards and then sign up for the TSA pre check... Pre check is almost as good as the first class line...

Make sure to get your shoes shined by the Goodfellows right at the entrance to terminal C!

Two best restaurants are the squatters in terminal c and the seafood restaurant between c and d next to the delta lounge.

Be sure to eyeball the lines. Sometimes the TSApre is slower even if you don't have to remove your shoes...
If you are checking in for the flight at night, around 10 or 11pm, there is no rush. you can go through security straight to the gate within 15 min. Plan accordingly.
Gluten-free vegetarians: Check our Cat Cora's Kitchen in Terminal B. They will substitute corn tortillas upon request. My dinner (see picture) was the best GF airport Meal I've had in ages!
Literally the longest walk from the terminal to pick up/parking. 😰

If you're looking to kill time during a long layover, check out the amazing photography display on the rear terminal wall facing south.
Grab a cup of coffee, find a table..... And people watch. Endless entertainment.

Love this airport. Terminals are close. People are kind. Starbucks is passed the D gates down the escalators.
New dazzling airport with 2021 amenities. It takes 7 mins to walk from A to B Gate.
Cheap protein 30 cents for an egg at Popeyes or with a biscuit just $1.20. During breakfast hours of course.
Try The Grove for good snacks (fruit, candy, trail mix, etc.) in bulk...mix and match for a cheap snack!
Cat Lora's place in terminal B is good, hard to find if you are at gates 1-10 but worth looking for.
