The portions are generous. I didn’t know this when I ordered three appetizers, each large enough to feed 4. This was followed by one of the most gorgeous platings of octopus carpaccio I’d ever seen. Read more

Charming patio. Try the Pizzaiola di Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia (squid ink spaghetti with tomato sauce) and the zuppa di mare (seafood stew). For dessert, make sure you try the Limoncello Pie!

Southern Italian charmer is quickly winning over those who have been missing predecessor Bistro Des Amis. Fritto misto, the gorgeous pesto over rough-hewn strozzapreti. Ask for a patio seat.

My new favorite Italian place. The Cacio e Pepe is delicious but the flavor is very strong so either go for it or make sure u like the ingredients.

After Sud Italia closed and Roma later opened in the same location, someone erred by renaming this listing instead of creating a new one. Now, ratings and tips are a mix of the two. Useless.

Simple but high quality italian food. Good alternative to the chains around.

Not sure why it is called Sud Italia, with specialities from regio Romagna and from Lazio on the menu. Wine list is mostly southern though. Food was fair at best. Service awful.
