C-SPANJune 25, 2010Newseum numbers: 250,000 sq. ft., 35,000 historic newspaper front pages, 15 theaters, 8 sections of the Berlin Wall (each is 3 tons), First Amendment tablet on Pennsylvania Ave. is 50 tons of marble.
Check out the "This Week" (formerly with George Stephanopoulos) studio on level 3. Take the "insider" tour twice and compare the docents' different (often conflicting) facts schpiels...

Call ahead to see if things are functioning. Nothing is working today. Well, there is one thing working: the machine that takes your money. This place is on an escalating decline.
