- Francisco CanoAugust 13, 2014This is the largest airport in Germany and one of the largest in Europe, so expect it to be very busy at all times. Lots of restaurants, stores, charging stations and of course, free Wi-Fi!Upvoted 2 days ago
- There are multiple ways to get to Z gates from the A gates and the other way around. Always look for a Z sign sometimes they are on the left and right sides as you walk straight to the larger Z signUpvoted 1 day ago
- MhmtaliMarch 8, 2015Frankfurt Airport offers passengers the chance to surf the Net around the clock, free of charge. The WiFi network is available through the HotSpot portal of Deutsche Telekom and its use is unlimited.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Mohammed AlrabahJanuary 18, 2016Beautiful airport, 24 hours free wifi provided by Telekom but you have to register first. Have a safe trip 👐🏼..Upvoted 3 days ago

- Pankaj JuvekarAugust 1, 2018The airport is huge so check your gate well in time or you might have to run to get there. There are plenty of cafes and shops on the way which might distract you as well so be on time. 😉
- Dave McJanuary 10, 2020Don’t bother planning your route by looking at the airport map, Einstein almost didn’t make it out of Germany trying to figure out that stupid map. Just follow the signs, it’s far but not confusing.Upvoted Apr 6
- Dave McJanuary 10, 2020No security during a connection, but they did check my passport the walk between was ridiculous though. 1hr!!! You should be able to call an Uber here! 🚕
- Roberta CorreaFebruary 25, 2018It has a yoga room! Which other airport offers it? Additionally the service at the duty free and other stores is among the best I experienced - and I do know airports!
- Great airport to spend up to 5 hours without getting out! A lot of shopping places, cafés and restaraunts (including authentic german one on the ground floor). Free WiFi for 24h.
- Germany‘s gate to the world. You can go almost anywhere from there. I like the healthy bowls at ”Natoo“ in Terminal 1. FRA is very busy, plan enough time.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Free Wifi - and if you have to stay for longer time at the Airport, go to the Mc Donalds at Terminal2! There are comfy couches with power outlets!Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Lina ArtistaJuly 29, 2020Great airport! Super comfortable, so easy to navigate, although it’s huge! Great service. 👌🏻 And Lufthansa airline is the best, love it! 😍
- M Aldoss ♏May 8, 2015One of The Biggest Airports in Europe !!! Duty-free stores are all over the Airport. If you flying from Terminal Z you Should try Traditional Bakery ... Good Quick Food before your next Flight 👍
- It’s very big and mostly unorganised ! Make sure you give extra time to not miss your flight !
- Lina ArtistaSeptember 10, 2020Great airport. Always clean. Free and stable internet. You can charge your phone everywhere. Kind staff.
- After the renovations a few years back FRA is much nicer and always pretty efficient, even though walking distances are long. Don't forget there's now free WiFi!
- I love this airport, massive, covering all your shopping, food and relaxation needs. Toilets are after every third gate - some hidden.
- christianJune 8, 2016In case of a long layover, there is a quiet public lounge in the second floor, in front of the Air Canada lounge. Great place to rest and even sneak a sleep on their reclined chairs.
- Aylin AlpustunJuly 31, 2022It’s huge yet really organized and I love the fact they have racks offering free magazines for international transfer passengers. Great to grab a free copy of Monocle mag, my favourite
- Tony XerriSeptember 23, 2019One of my favorite airports because you can navigate easily to your connecting flights even when in a jam. Great selection of shopping and places to eat as well.
- Simple yet lovely airport, need more of those leisure zone facilities which i love. The outdoor observation deck is a must-visit & Meyer Qualität is a must-try! Super Delicious sandwiches! I promise!
- QFebruary 22, 2020Great and massive airport. If you are a transit passenger, keep aside good enough time from one gate to another. Free WiFi and plenty of Star Alliances lounges across the terminal.
- What to have a nice meal - go to Hausmann's, right in a center of T1. Service may take a little longer in rush hour, but the food is always good.
- Amazing place to spend some time lots to see and do and it really makes Frankfurt & Rhein-Main international. A great gateway to the world!!
- Am only familiar with the B terminal but that's big and keeps you busy while in transit. The McDonald's has the best view of the airfield; at least 2 duty free shops; even a place to get a quick mani!
- Wilson Favre-DelerueApril 13, 2021Grumpy immigration officials, grumpier security staff, long distances w/ no walkways, too little seating, F&B outlets that seem to close every time you have that evening long-haul. Horrible airport.
- David ChitanavaJuly 13, 2019Security check is so unorganized and queue is so chaotic that there is big chance to miss your flight. Sadly, but arrival 2 hours before the flight is absolutely not enough for this airport.
- RossOctober 23, 2014If you are arriving from an American flight and connecting to another flight within Europe allow at least 1 hour for your connection. You will have to go through security again and the lines are huge
- The airside food options located at the intersections of the long terminal hallways here are incredible and affordable. Showers, smoking rooms, and fast access to the city make it a great layover.
- Damian BayonaDecember 27, 2014Free and very fast wifi - was able to download a movie in less than 5 minutes. The airport is large and can be confusing, though. Noticeable difference in amenities depending on the hall you are in
- NmNovember 29, 2019One of the top busiest airports in the world but very well organized !! It’s close to the city center (almost 20 minutes) .. The hub of Lufthansa !!
- Amit GaharwarMay 11, 2016The DB trains arrive directly to airport from Basel. A lot of shops to keep you engaged if you arrive early. Customs stamp are necessary to get you tax back. Cash payment of tax will incur commission.
- This is one of the biggest airports I've seen. If you are in transit, make sure you have at least an hour layover. You might need to walk for 30 minutes or take a train to another terminal. Huge place
- Mark LeeMarch 29, 2017Deli Coffee Kitchen [by Meyer Feinkost] at Terminal 1B near Gate B27. Tasty cold meals in plastic boxes. Recommend to eat before boarding or Take onboard. 12€ for two meals: I was hungry 😊
- Frankfurt Airport is offering a Sweet program to loose weight, with its millions meters of corridors between connecting flights.
- Great airport. Only thing that you should be aware of if you are a smoker, once you get in from C terminal security there's no smoking rooms unlike in B or Z.
- Marc RMay 24, 2018Terminal A has a movie lounge area tucked away to the side to relax. Watching Parks and Rec as I write this tip. Showers also available.
- Efficient airport. If you're in a hurry due to delayed arrival: Let them know and they'll help.
- Katarína DedinskáSeptember 16, 2016Really huge in here. Great lounge. Lots of facilities. Come early it is easy to lost there ;) great relaxing seats and power sockets. Excellent place for plane spotting
- One of the busiest airports in the world. One of my favorite airports to travel to and through. Can do a bit better job on keeping clean though.
- The newer security regulations here (as of summer 2017) is ultra slow for flights departing to the U.S. Agents only add to the delay with their slow pace. Consider taking a train to the USA instead.
- Terrific shopping before security. Come early if you want to buy gifts for family & friends. After security, it’s just the standard stuff and in some gate areas, nothing at all.
- Maybe the biggest airport in whole Europe, and getting bigger and bigger. It is very modern, but a bit complex. You need to be alert for signs. For connections, consider more time between flights.
- PavlixOctober 20, 2017Clean, modern, spacious airport with great design and cutting edge facilities for European standards. The restaurants are less interesting in terms of their variety of offerings.
- Looks like they have a brand new area of concourse A which makes this airport more enjoyable. Two new lounges Senator and Business Lufthansa in the area as well.
- Joel ReedDecember 18, 2014Easy, quick access through immigration. A few decent shops, Starbucks included, inside. Hit the supermarket in Terminal 1 for some last minute snacks or sandwiches for the flight.
- This is an impressive airport. It’s huge and just getting from one side to another can take a long while. If you’re connecting book to allow more than 60 min. In the summer the airport is very hot
- Still a good (big) airports in Europe. Great facilities land and air side, and great new lounges at Terminal 1 with LH status cards. Give yourself time in transit. Superb IRIS type passport system.
- HaonanSeptember 30, 2022If you have extra small euro coins and don’t want them, pay it forward and leave it in the coffee machine :)
