- Premshree PillaiMarch 15, 2014Incredible food in an impressively impersonal unadult-like loud space, matched by a pretty nonchalant even if friendly service. Choose wisely.
- Liz DellSeptember 6, 2014Pricey but literally everything on the menu is amazing. Get lots of plates to share, they are all pretty small.
- One of my current favorites, fresh and well made food with a great wine menu
- Serious EatsAugust 26, 2013Excellent cocktails and small plates in inventive forms, as much a bumping bar as a restaurant.
- Amanda WalkerOctober 18, 2013The beef tartar is as good as the hype. Loved the ricotta dumplings too--a delicious and beautiful dish.
- Rory CampbellApril 15, 2017All dishes were sensational but the steak tartare was possibly the best I've ever had.
- Mikahla VicinoAugust 14, 2016Once you finish the razor oysters, ask the waiter for a plate of bread to soak up all the delicious sauce.
- Marideny TavarezJanuary 3, 2016Everything, but my absolute favorite is the Endive salad. The best I've ever had.
- Dylan StilinAugust 15, 2014Looking at the menu is almost unnecessary. Just order the steak tartare and mussels escabeche on toast and you'll be happy.
- BonSeptember 21, 2016Arroz negro, lamb chops, dried shrimp tomatoes, and beef tartare. Umami all the way!
- AMarch 28, 2016Great food, service needs some work, was kept waiting for our table past reservation time and a long gap between starter and mains.
- Solène MaîtreDecember 13, 2014Wine tip: get the Tissot wine (Jura, Chardonnay). Your next trip will be France after tasting this wine.
- Becca BaeMarch 9, 2016Everything is ridiculously delicious. Order 2-3 dishes per person to share, you won't regret it
- CharlottesJuly 31, 2016Wonderful meal. Great cocktails and innovative produce-driven fare, served with a smile.
- If the chicken hearts are on the menu they are a must have. One of the best dishes in all of NYC.
- Bitches Who BrunchDecember 16, 2016
- Calamari a la pancha with caramelized onion and romesco. Light but flavorful . Perfect to go with Riesling .
- Shirley LauMay 8, 2017Unfortunately did not enjoy most of the dishes :( I found the lamb ribs to be way too salty, raw scallop and greens were a mismatch. Best was the ricotta dumplings. Did not live up to the hype!
- H JAugust 13, 2015Bday dinner. Overall everything was a bit salty. Really nice presentation. All the dishes were beautiful. BUT i had a horrible stomachache after I ate here...
- Charlie GarlockJanuary 17, 2016Great food. Get the mussels escabeche on toast. Warning: the portions are TINY. Even the "big" plates are small.
- Stephanie YuanApril 23, 2016Arroz negro is amazing!! Also the fluke/uni may look understated but is pretty special
- Wish the burrata salsa verde was sold by the gallon. Don't miss any beef dishes or panna cotta
- Jessica ShimAugust 13, 2014Bon Appetit Says: Beef tartare with sunchoke; mussels escabeche on toast; ricotta dumplings; panna cotta
- Calamari amazing. Beef tartar is same. Ollie's ham is like pork butter. All fish dishes are great!
- HOBNOB MagazineApril 6, 2015Stop in for a cocktail and the Lamb Ribs, and rub elbows with a cool crowd.
- Eliza ChangDecember 24, 2013"the ideal restaurant if you’re bored by pasta but you’ve stopped believing there are thrills to be had from dipping sugar-cube-size pieces of meat into micronipples of emulsified whatever." - NYT
- Amanda HoJune 18, 2016Tasty delicious food, but extremely small portions for what you pay. Definitely more of a food "experience" kind of place than a eating to satisfy hunger restaurant.
- Natalie AnilloNovember 23, 2014Absolutely get the ricotta dumplings, mussels on toast, and pork with leeks/carrots
- KonstantinJune 23, 2017Burrata is delicious, beef tartare is way Below average, not sure why the hype?!Portions are very small,it's expensive. Service was below average, rushed, plates cleaned up constantly.Desert was burnt.
- Ximena AboitesSeptember 10, 2022Oysters and ricotta dumplings. The German wine is surprisingly delicious.
- Stina P.February 25, 2015trendy with a sommelier, but the food was not as impressive. there are plenty of cozy west village spots with better plates
- Niji J.September 25, 2016The veggie options are tasty but extremely limited and they won't do any off menu accommodations
- Brandon PerlmanAugust 24, 2013100% go for the beef tartare, egg and gigante beans, and the heirloom tomato salad
- Don't leave without getting the steak tartare - among some of the best in NYC.
- Anne Mai BertelsenNovember 29, 2014Very few misses here. So relax. Take a chance and order. Pretty sure it'll be delicious
- Kay TeoFebruary 17, 2019Lamb ribs are good (Asian spiced), but desserts are severely underwhelming. Overrated pannacotta and chocolate cake is an overglorified molten chocolate cake that masquerades like tiramisu
- Rachel ShapiroJanuary 4, 2014Loved the steak tartare, burrata, steak entree and panna cotta for dessert!
