- Dara AndersonJuly 12, 2018Everything is amazing—food, staff, ambiance. The garlic french roll is perfectly soft (like ciabatta) but doesn’t fall apart at all. Love the pepperoncini blend (it’s genius)! Portions are massive.Go!
- Ryan LeggettJanuary 31, 2014The Fatty Matty is great! Bread is warm and soft, but crispy on the edges. Ratio of fillings is just right. Combination of ingredients is unique. And the pickles are perfectly crisp and tart.
- Jack OsborneNovember 19, 2014Ruby Claire was pretty great. Corned beef, Romanian pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and 1000 Island served on a warm French roll. I'm full but the fat kid inside me wants another.
- Jinnie LApril 10, 2015one of the best sandwich in SF! their dutch cruch & french rolls are really good. Boca, Kevin(with chicken salad), gold-n-berge-n-stein♡but with the tomato bisque from soup company, zeke is perfect!
- Brian WrightsonOctober 13, 2015The Mezman (romanian pastrami, deviled egg salad, muenster cheese, garlic dutch crunch, etc.) is maybe the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. Also, you read that right: pastrami and egg salad.
- for vegetarians, the egg salad, falafel, or a cheese/avocado sandwich are all great options. board sauce and stadium mustard are 👍🏽
- timothy wudarskiMay 20, 2016Haven't had a bad sandwich yet, but pay attention to the specials—they're often made with ingredients not found on any other item, and are truly "special."
- Andrew ChoiApril 10, 2016The Mezman sandwich was pretty damn good (pastrami, deviled egg salad, muenster, cherry peppers, pickles, Board sauce, and on that amazing garlic dutch crunch bread), but sammies are hella expensive.
- Best sandos in SF but you will pay out the wazoo for the pleasure. The hot sauces are also bomb!
- Don't fret about deciding amongst the huge selection. Make sure yours has pastrami + brisket + pepperoncini spread + some sort of cheese. You can't go wrong. If they have the JT, you have to get it.
- Lucas FlorioAugust 4, 2015I had the pastrami sandwich. Very good. Sad that they don't have rye bread though for it. It would have been perfect.
- Jenn ChenJanuary 26, 2021Be prepared to wait a bit. Incredible pastrami, also a fan of the Tenenbaum on Dutch Crunch. Board sauce is phenomenal with their house fries.
- Don't forget, you can always mix-and-match meats (e.g. brisket + pastrami, or brisket + pastrami + salami). They'll proportion the sandwich correctly so it's just the right amount of overwhelming.
- Everything is delicious but what's special about Deli Board are the Romanian pastrami and corned beef from Cleveland. Get a sando with either -- or both! -- and you'll be richly rewarded.
- Adrian PhillipsDecember 18, 2015Sandwiches filled to the max with meaty goodness. The Fatty Matty with albacore tuna salad, felafel and other goodies is very tasty. Their XXX Buffalo Sauce is no joke spice wise.
- Daniel LillyApril 22, 2018the bread has the perfect combo of soft and crunchy and the fillings are good but $16-18 is flat out too much for a sandwich
- Trace D.April 18, 2016Wow. It was fast and I haven't had such an incredible sandwich in a long while. Try the Mezman -- the hot pastrami was perfect, and not too greasy! #drool
- You're going to question why you're paying $15+ for a sandwich, but no matter what you choose, it's money well spent. The Kuip and the Ron are my current favorites, but menu changes frequently.
- Bohdan HnatkovskyyJune 12, 2015The legendary place with extremely delicious sandwiches. Be ready to wait for them for about 20 minutes, but they worth it.
- Ray LinAugust 13, 2012The Mezman is the perfect sandwich. It has everything I would want on a sandwich: pastrami, deviled egg salad, muenster, jalepenos, pickles and board sauce on hot-toasted garlic dutch crunch (!)
- AliceNovember 14, 2023Get the 49er and 555. Absolutely amazing sandwiches in an unfortunate area. Saw a lot of people bike here, grab their sandos and bike away
- Deli Board does man sandwiches and two meal salads. You really can't go wrong here and ALWAYS check the daily specials board.
- The $$$ is the best sandwich I've ever had. Hands down. Though you really can't go wrong with any sandwich on this menu.
- Samantha RobinsonMay 1, 2013Perfect lunchtime spot for a jury duty recess. Try the smoked salmon salad with dill dressing... Despite the name, I have no regrets!
- So happy to have a quality sandwich shop in the neighborhood. This place is excellent. Service is very friendly too. They play tunes on vinyl too which is such a cool idea.
- Not all items on the board last forever. Try as many as you can because they're all good. Mind the daily specials as well.
- Briana RognlinOctober 18, 2017Everything here ROCKS...besides the price and line. Sandwiches are incredible, just come armed with time and a lot of lunch money.
- Justin HAugust 20, 2018I went with the Leroy Brown and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. Worth every penny.
- DannyboySeptember 7, 2012What a solid sandwich??? Try something from the board itself. You can build your own, but the specials are super good when you can't make your mind!!!
- Make your own BLT. It's okay that they dont have tomatoes. Avocado, sprouts, pickled onion, pepperocini and board sauce and you are a happy, happy camper.
- Yuriy LipatovMarch 11, 2016Honestly great sandwiches! A bit pricy, average is $15. But you should split it with your friend cause a sandwich will be huge.
- Justin EdmundOctober 11, 2012If you're here with someone from Pinterest, ask them to take your sandwiches back to the office and eat on the roof.
- Best hot sandwiches in the city. They change frequently but anything with brisket and spicy peppers is my favorite.
- If there's a line out the door, best bet is to get a salad, soup, or their special appetizers instead of a sandwich.
- Best sandwiches in San Francisco? Definitely close. One sandwich is good for two meals. If you like tuna try the Fatty Matty: it has everything in it.
- They need an alias for my usual custom combo: smoked brisket on Dutch crunch with muenster cheese, board sauce and lettuce
- Nicole FormicaNovember 13, 2015Holy meat sandwich, batman! The $$$ was an amazing sandwich. Perfect to share.
- get the bg: house brisket cheddar cheese sport peppers house slaw pickles pickled red onion board sauce sweet french. this is truly everything i want in a sandwich.
- StephanySeptember 8, 2018One or the best Reubens I’ve ever had. The prices seem high but you’ll have enough food to make another meal of it.
- Killer pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, get there before noon to avoid the rush. Don't forget the pickle!
- The $$$ sandwich is actually called the "Mo Money", named after the cool lady that works the register at Deli Board. The more you know...
- jared mcguireJuly 20, 2016Fay (always on menu) and Goldie (special) are winners. No matter what, get the Dutch crunch!
- William HanlonNovember 24, 2013I've found a winner; this is my go-to sandwich shop. They play vinyls all day on the record player, so you know it's gotta be dope.
- Derek DukesDecember 31, 2013The menu changes seasonally and the bread is baked to order. My favorites are the BG, Mick and Yum Yum.
- Burak TopuzluOctober 18, 2014Amazing..!! Instead of waiting 1 hour in dotties.. We came here.. And the result was amazinggg.. I suggest annabelle !!!!!
- Great friendly workers, good salads as well as sandwiches! Get the cheesesteak if they have it!
