At gate 8 national departures is offered free of charge free flaw water dispenser...I find this great :)

Tax exemption for foreigners is a long queue, so arrive early!!
FYI Crepes & Waffles on the second floor near Exit 4 is the only place at the airport with decent food.
Carl IngberMarch 16, 2010Interesting fact, since Bogota has high elevation, you will experience a rough and fast landing. Plane will still be doing 3-400mph at 5-6k feet, its a little crazy.

If you don't have much time to eat get a to go box from crepes and waffles. Food is delicious!

Get an uber to go to town. Yellow cabs are unsafe and the driver will surely try to rip you off if you are a foreigner
Store your luggage on 1st floor for long delays and go see the town or just relax.

The building is modern and nice, with plenty of space and chairs...but lacks outlets.- TAXI to BOGOTA: do not take the taxi where the men are offering service. Stand in line outside. Cost is less and service is good. Cost range $5-12USD

Food is overpriced at the few restaurants once you've passed through the emigration checkpoint. Try eating at the restaurants next to the airline check-in counters

I paid 10 dollars instead of 5 because I didn't know there was a chart with the prices in every taxi.- Copa Airlines has mobile boarding pass so you don't need to print it! Just show it in your cellphone!!!
Shawn BuckleDecember 17, 2011ATM upstairs on 2nd floor in departure building (not arrival). Registered taxis to your right out of arrival door. Tell booth where you're going and they print receipt with fare. Pay driver.

Jake AndrewJuly 23, 2017Horribly long immigration arrival queue! I've done it 3x, each 30-60min queue. I've done immigration at maybe 100 airports. This is one of the worst! Several taxi collection scams - with employees!
