- Janek RubešSeptember 16, 20144 bus: exit to the right, follow the road, until you see a little path with a roof over it, at the there is a roundabout. Bus sign: coredur sur, albrook, fare 1,50$ ask someone and give him cash. :)Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Charly D'OliveJuly 5, 2017Free wifi for 30 min, always crowded, shops are 2x-3x more expensive than outside, unless you live in a developing country with expensive electronics stay way- waste of time, food court ok but smallUpvoted 4 weeks ago
- Moises RojasSeptember 16, 2016Free wifi! Don't put your real email. Not necessary. Server doesn't validate if email is real or not.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- When you come out to take a taxi to Panama City, please double check with the driver. The fare should not be more than $40 (example Uber fare is $35, from Panama to the airport. Don't let them cheat!Upvoted 1 week ago
- Terrible. Free wi-fi only for 30 minutes. It doesn’t make sense an international airport charging for internet in 2021.
- MatthiasOctober 19, 2017Although very pretty when you just land right under palm trees but it isn‘t the best organized airport I have ever been to. Preferably, allow yourself some extra time here when transitioning.
- New terminal can't come soon enough. The food court is an absolute relic, frozen in time since 20 years ago w/ the most awful fast-food. Only option outside of it is a Nathan's (!!) on the bottom fl.
- The new wing, very nice and convenient, the old one a pit. Housekeeping went on vacation and never came back...
- Rafa del ToroApril 1, 2018There are some free WiFi spots hidden... I found one near TOUS store. Also had a hard time looking for a decent bathroom... near door 30+ there was one
- Mola's Bar (2 locaciones at both ends is a great option to have a drink and snack before your flight! Free WiFi and the best cocktails, the service is the best!
- Abby GaleDecember 8, 2018Bid. A day or two early to upgrade Copa to first class then wiz through check in lane as business class. Other Beni fits. Wide seats. Excellent drinks and food on plane
- Bruno RampazziNovember 8, 2010If you will stay for long time, go downstairs and will find a free transfer to Metromall every 30 min. There you can eat better and expend some time, they have some outlet stores and tourist discounts
- ToshieFebruary 11, 2016Whoever said there's a great food court eats horrible fast food... Good luck trying to find something good and not loaded with calories
- Use Uber, Cabs at the airpprt are double or triple the price of a Uber ride. Besides that cabs charge $5 dollars extra if you pay with credit card.
- Terri ThrushSeptember 14, 2014Air Bar excellent #margaritas on the rocks with #donjulioañejo! Ask for #Daniel! Wow!
- Robert FApril 20, 2013No duty-free cigarettes, no smoking booth and leave your lighter at home, it will be confiscated. Make sure to take the stairs/escalator up for decent WiFi
- Felipe GarciaOctober 10, 2019Small airport to the point that connections usually take just a few minutes. There’s a lot of short connecting flights there but it’s usually not an issue. Lots of natural light!
- If you thought a croissant was a nice light start of the day, don't try the one of the naturally fast (normally slow) on the 1st floor foodcourt, old and solid as a brick..
- Not the best airport but easy for connections between North and South/Central America. If taking Uber to Panama City, pick up is at the far right end of the parking lot near Lane 15 (as of Apr 2019)
- Marconi LenzaMay 8, 2018Half of the GDP of the country comes from the Canal and half from the airport. Everything there is expensive. Avoid buying anything unless necessary.
- Svend D.October 25, 2017Most expensive airport I've been to. Don't exchange money here (unless you're okay with getting back 60% of the value)! Also sim cards are extremely overpriced. So is the food / coffee.
- Uber trip to city is around 15$. Not 30-40$ like described in previous tip ;)
- Genaro BardyJune 4, 2019The food court is upstairs. You can go up there at gate 132. Hopefully it will save you some time, took me half an hour #stupido
- Christian IngleFebruary 21, 2014Never leave anything to chance when it comes to duty free. 1. They dont have it (videogame consoles) 2. Everything os far more expensive than the mall. Iphones average nearly 800 usd!!
- Xosé CastroSeptember 23, 2013Complete (fast) food court on second floor. Not really well indicated. I think there are just three restrooms in the whole airport (!!). No bookstores or papers/magazines as far as I could see.
- Netta SeleneDecember 28, 2014Don’t turn up thirsty after 11PM. Everything is closed, there are no vending machines, but there is 1 water fountain near terminal 26 if you're into trekking and all that.
- Abi PanickerAugust 8, 2017Very fun airport, more like a mall, that happens to have some air traffic going through it. Very diverse selection of shops and restaurants, only one lounge air side, Copa, which is OK
- Alex YuleJuly 9, 2022For how nice this airport is generally it’s crazy the wifi costs money. 30m free? Wasn’t enough to make it through customs and get an Uber. Wait to start your wifi until you are outside!
- Mola's Bar is a great option to have a drink and snack before your flight! Free WiFi and the best cocktails, the service is the best!
- Simon SmidtOctober 16, 2022Arriving and didn't get enough food on the plane?Walk out of terminal 1 to the right to find Niko's.Looks shitty from the outside, but food is good. Airport staff eats here also.
- Erika TaitJuly 9, 2019Don’t buy duty free liquids unless you’re ok with giving them back to airport security. At the gates, there is a 2nd security check- they take away liquids over 3 ounces (including duty free purchase)
- Enjoy a cold Balboa, Panama or Rock Ice. Say hello to random strangers. Great networking.
- Evgeny GoncharovMarch 19, 2020Normal atmosphere, friendly personnel. No so variable food;( I vê spent here a day
- J. I.G.May 13, 2017Security checks at the gates. You'll be held in an area with not enough seats. No liquids allowed either
- Great airport. Lots of shops. Super clean. You can have your COVID rapid test here.
- Andrew RijnbeekNovember 3, 2014Pretty modernised airport, fast service. No direct connections into town though. Take an expensive cab..
- Check out the Oro Moreno tiny chocolate sheets as gifts. 5 USD each :)
- Gabriel HayesFebruary 21, 2016If you are looking for restaurants or bars, go to the food court on he 2nd floor. Can walk up by Gate 23.
- Duty free very expensive but in Alcohol and Cigarettes, if you want to buy electronics go to Panafoto in the city. Clothes, jewelry, etc is very expensive.
- The new food court is nice, but if you just want a coffee and sandwich you have to stand in line and watch a quite disorganized crew messup. Abajoi el foodcourt, vive Tierra Firme . Mas autentico
- There's a mini food court on 2nd floor, go and eat something before boarding ;)
- Vicky MoralesAugust 31, 2014Don't forget to travel with your own adaptador thing, you need it to charge your phone
- P Alejandro TovarAugust 8, 2014Advise: log in first with your PC. Two hours later with your phone. At gate 4 you can reach wifi network called MolasNorte password: 12345678. There are better deals with electronic devices on Amazon
- The new metro bus makes it a lot cheaper to get to the airport (even though the path is still kinda weird). Pay 25 centavos rather than 25$ on a taxi. Handy for backpackers, you do need the card tho
- Amauri LucinioJuly 1, 2014There are several stores and it is a tax free area but hold on your impulses, connect on the free airport Wi-Fi and check eBay before each deal, you will notice that most of them will not worth it.
- Getting messier by the day. Too crowded, too narrow and too small. You can find overpriced games and electronics, but getting something to eat is a challenge.
- Leon OeOctober 11, 2017Very short queues, almost no wait (took 10 mins from entering the airport to gate, incl security and baggage drop). Immigration officers don’t speak English. Cigarettes are very cheap in duty free.
- Saint MatteoDecember 30, 2021Right now there is only one door to enter, yet you can go through security a few ways. Double check your flight as you walk pass security, gates change a lot here
