Great little gem on the UWS. The portions are plentiful and the food is authentic. I recommend their Lasagna & Rigatoni Bolognese. Do leave room for dessert, Torta di Ricotta & Tiramisu are fantastic

I've always wanted someone to put shakshuka -- poached egg with spiced tomatoes, tahini, and cilantro -- into a pita to save me the effort of all that dipping. Taboonette has that breakfast sandwich.
The avocado toast with a poached egg is my favorite! Also, it is worth trying the mushroom & brie toast. The staff is super friendly.
