Eric LApril 21, 2013Timescapes, a 25-min movie on city history, is a must-see. Activist New York features exhibits on 14 social movements. And don't forget Stettheimer Dollhouse and the exhibit on compact living design.
Jeff TomczekFebruary 23, 2014Easy to get to off the 6 (20 min from Grand Central) and entirely worth the trip. Beautiful building and timely special exhibits like Hurricane Sandy photography and City as Canvas. Shop is cool too.

WEI WEIMay 18, 2015Surprisingly great! The chandelier is fascinating. Exhibitions are carefully curated. It's much less crowded so quite enjoyable. Guided tours are at 3pm

New York at Its Core is the only exhibition of its kind dedicated to celebrating and interpreting NYC’s past, present and future. It’s a must-see for New Yorkers and tourists alike.

Focus on the far right screen, otherwise you'll be lost. The content of the film is great.
